We had to wait long for everything, to get water for all, to get a server to come and take our order, to get our food , to get our check and finally, for someone to come and take our payment. It was unbelievably slow and the restaurant was not even very busy! We had three different people attend to us and they were all equally bad, with no interest in serving us, or doing anything for that matter.Food was quite good and if the service is improved, this place has potential.

Hung back while family jaunted around Muir etc. and was delighted with the convenience and hospitality of this well-appointed restaurant nestled in a strip mall with a number of other choices. Can't say enough about the great dishes â from menu variety to delicious selections, a worthy taste of Chinese cuisine!

I am very happy to have Sushi 69 in San Anselmo. It is a great spot for families, couples, or friends just hanging out. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is relaxed and refined at the same time. Hard to beat the patio in the evening with family and friends.

We arrived without a reservation, and closer to close than we had intended, but were immediately and politely shown to a table by the friendly and helpful wait staff. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, the furnishings are lovely. The food was prepared quickly, but was also clearly very fresh -they have an open kitchen, so you can even watch them prepare your food. I asked for a slight alteration to my meal (to hold the chili peppers/make it not-spicy), and the staff were happy to comply. My pad thai was delicous (and, not spicy!) and my companion's green curry was also a hit, both meals were clearly made fresh using good ingredients and very tasty. The meal came to around $30, including taxes and tip, making it a great meal for a good price. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some fantastic thai food!

I was visiting friends in the city and was craving Thai so they brought me to their go-to Thai spot. The owner took our order and was friendly, obviously recognizing my friends from being there often. I ordered the butternut squash massuman curry with chicken, my friend had the prawn and curry and I cannot remember what her bf had. All our entrees were flavorful and delicious!! Easily the best Thai I've had ever!!

This new place replaces an old dive Chinese restaurant. It is quite small with four booths, five tables and a bar that seats seven. There are three tables out front. Since there are no reservations, one must be in line before 5PM when they open. Otherwise your name goes on a waiting list. It is very casual and noisy, but the staff are excellent. You are greeted by the manager, and the staff are attentive and friendly. They kept our meal perfectly paced with one order following another. There was no feeling of being rushed. There are a wide range of plates besides sushi, from starters to elaborate plates of rolls. The individual prices seem good, but of course it mounts up if you keep ordering. There is an extensive saki menu which is fun to explore. The staff is knowledgeable on what to order. The night we went everything was delicious and just the right size. This included the sunomono seaweed salad, grilled spicy eggplant, fried soft-shell crawfish rolls and clam and kimchi hotpot. I am told this is by the same people who run Sushi Ran in Sausalito. They also have desserts! When was the last sushi restaurant you went to that had something besides green tea ice cream? This is a higher caliber of food than is typical for Fairfax's conventional family Italian, Mexican and Indian restaurants and a wonderful addition.
