Japanese restaurant offering sushi and kitchen. We offer made to order AYCE lunch and Dinner menu. We also have a la carte dine in menu and offer take out. BYOB friendly.
Sakana is a new comer to the all-you-can-eat sushi / Japanese food trend. The place was decent and new. The servers were attentive but food can be slow during peak dining time. Some of our orders were not processed correctly (Those items with more expensive ingredients like salmon roe). The restaurant deliberately "forgot" to prepare. Happened more than once. Steam egg, hand rolls, and salmon skin (AKA cheap stuff) never caused any issue. If one insists, the order will be fulfilled, of course. Food wise, the selection covers most typical Japanese faire. Tuna tartar appetizer was excellent especially. Fun rolls are enormous and fulfilling. Lunch for $15pp is such a bargain. We will come back again but then we will verify the items ordered one by one.
Got to be awesome, right? Yes. This Korean style restaurant allows byo, so bring your wine! Food is very tasty and fresh. Service is attentive and kind. My favorite is the tofu and mushroom dishes. They have ramen and korean noodle selections, in a variety of spice levels. Great place after long day of shopping with hungry kids, and having a meal before heading home. I have been at this place many times. I think they are loving people, and guests are loving, too.

In the area for business (off Route 10) and stumbled upon this place for lunch. Itâs in a large strip mall but somewhat hidden, around the corner behind Smashburger and Chipotle. Pretty good fare. The 5-spice grilled pork rolls were huge, almost a meal in themselves. And very good! The chicken pho was good, but not extraordinary. What stood out was the portion - it was LARGE; I took half home for dinner or lunch tomorrow. Prices are reasonable; I paid $20 with tax and tip. The service alternated between slow and rushed which was the only downside. Bottom line: if you have a hankering for Vietnamese food and are in the area stop in here.

I had a main dish of beef and chinese broccoli and it wasn't fantastic or bad but mediocre. There was enough beef and enough green vegetables with nice leafy branches but I thought it was a bit expensive and there was too much garlic, though diced up, on the chinese broccoli/guy lon. The BBQ ribs though were great. They selected the ribs that were the most round and least flat such that the ends had the least cartilage.

Every time I come here for lunch, I pick something from the Chinese menu. Yes, there are two menus. One in English and one in Chinese. The ones written in Chinese, I believe, does not have many of the Americanized dishes (General Tso, Sesame chicken etc). Due to cold weather, I wanted something soupy and warm and so I ordered Da Ru Mien (Mien=noodle), a northern Chinese dish. I have mixed feelings about the dish. According to food critics, the brothy part of the dish is called the "Ru" juice (Ru Ji). If a Da Ru noodle dish is well prepared, then when you pick the noddle up with a pair of chop sticks, the Ru juice will be shinny and stick on the noddle, instead of dripping down like soup. The Ru juice here does not do that. However, I am completely okay with it, since for the Ru juice to be thick enough to stick to the noddle, you need to add extra corn starch and for the Ru juice to appear glossy you need to add extra oil. I am very health conscious and I am personally happy with the Ru Juice they have here. However, two things that are no okay. First, they added some fresh veggie in there, which is fine. But the carrot is not cooked through and I personally dislike the smell of carrot. Second, and more importantly, the pork is gamy. They do give you enough pork slices (wrapped with corn starch so the texture would be slippery), but I personally don't think the pork is fresh. Da Ru Mien -- not a dish I would recommend.

AJ's Bistro is a favorite spot of ours when we're running errands in this part of New Jersey. True to Taiwanese cuisine, the spicy beef noodles soup with homemade pasta is spectacular, as are the numerous types of tofu dishes. The service is prompt, even during a bustling lunch period.

You can watch long noodles being rolled out by hand. Kids seemed to get a big kick out of this and even get a piece of dough to try it too.Noodles in big bowls of rich beef and chicken soup, saute'd noodles, beef, chicken, pork, lamb, duck and vegetarian. Entrees are generous, appetizers are tasty and soup bowls are huge, think a big bowl of Pho. You get a pair of scissors to cut your noodles! If you like your chicken, beef, duck without any skin or fat, this place is not for you. The skin, fat, bones and muscles all add to depth and richness of the stocks, soups and sauces. Shan Shan is not an Americanized Chinese restaurant. Our friends enjoyed it, my wife won't go back and I would be more cautious if I did.

We took my mother (age 95) to this restaurant for dinner this past weekend, and thoroughly enjoyed everything. Their food is extremely tasty and appears to be fairly authentic. It is also served in large portions by friendly waitresses...a totally great place! (And their fresh shrimp spring rolls are good too!)

The food tasted good. The price was very reasonable. We had been searching for a go-to Indian restaurant for a while and we've found it!The staff is attentive and polite. The buffet offers many choices. We went there around 1pm thinking it would be slower, but they struggled to keep up with clean plates as people just kept coming in! We'll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful celebration for our sonâs college graduation. We had 3 large tables of family and friends. We order a feast and shared family style. All our guests raved about and enjoyed the food. We had brought our own wine and beer plus a cake. The service was great and very attentive. We frequent the restaurant and knew the food was delicious, ordered 2 appetizers and 11 entrees, more than enough - and had leftovers. The location was perfect, in between home and Rutgers, convenient for family and friends who were not able to make the graduation. A shout out to Henry, who help us reserve tables and order the food, extremely nice. Thank you
