Excellent service by Adeline. I appreciate that Adeline heard me request GF and informed me that the ginger dressing has soy sauce in it, so she recommended the ranch dressing. I usually don't like ranch dressing, but I loved Akashi's ranch dressing. The $2 garden salad is a surprisingly large portion, considering the price. The raw salmon on my salmon nigiri was moist and fresh and the portions were surprisingly large for the price (compared to what I'm served where I live, in NJ) and less expensive than what I'm used to.

This is a pretty elegant very large Asian restaurant in a shopping center off the South point exit in NC 54.Ate lunch here and had Chicken Hibachi. While prices are high for lunch they give you very large portions. You can have soup or salad with lunch and I ordered Miso soup. I was surprised it was a bowl not a cup.Chicken Hibachi I ordered had good portions of chicken, brown rice and vegetables. In addition they give you noodles with it also. It is almost too much to eat. Another good deal during lunch is for a $1.95 you can also get a spring roll and a drink Service was friendly and professional. The decor was really nice and they have three dining areas with the sushi bar in the back.Recommended and less than a mile off I-40. Head the opposite way from Southpoint Mall turn left on NC 54 and it is go maybe a quarter Mike and it is shopping center on the left.Don, thanks for taking the time to review your recent visit! We’re thrilled you enjoyed your lunch, and look forward to seeing you back in again very soon.

This is a nice, large restaurant, but good for friends, groups, discussions, etc. The food was excellent as was the service. Four of us had two appetizers (dumplings and crab crisps) and three main courses including shrimp pad thai and their eggplant dish. ALL of our food was excellent and the service was friendly and attentive. A fun meal.

Amazing lunch in Durham. We had the KFC wings and they were good, super crispy. Also got the pork buns which were great, the crispy shallots added that extra texture that you usually want/need with the buns. My husband got the Ramen and it was soooo good. One of our favorites we've had, definitely top 3! The broth was so delicious. I had the Chicken Sandwich and it was very good. Super crispy and I don't ever eat sweet pickles but I did that day. Service was great and we can't wait to go back.

Based on reviews, we went here for our combined anniversary dinner with another couple friends. Good thing we had a reservation - even at 6 pm on a week night, the place was packed. We all liked the warm, lively vibe; friendly wait staff; great house wine.Good thing that our server informed us of the portion size that we ordered several Appetizers to share. They were truly a bite size!Everyone enjoyed their main course, but my husband's fish entree for its portion & no other side dish, we all agreed, were way too expensive for what it was.Dessert, in my opinion, was mixed bag - Cannoli was too burnt to crisp, but other desserts were yummy. Again, price was a little too high for the portion.Overall, we enjoyed the experience, most of all the ambiance of the place.

We were visiting from out of town and a local recommended Dashi. It's a cool, small space, apparently very popular. Nice selection of drinks. Very good service, main dishes were freshly prepared and flavorful. We shared two desserts; the green tea cake with ice cream was excellent; the vegan 'smores' was unappealing.
