We went at past ten to make reservations for a group of 15 and to pre-order. Also, instructed to make the food available at 12 noon. Orders came in trickles. Forgot the grilled liempo and replaced it with lechon kawali which came at the end of the meal and so was the ginataang alimasag. The one who took the orders completely forgot. So, service is mediocre. It was embarrassing to our guests who were our hosts in your city. Food wasn't that great except for the bouillabaisse in coconut cream. There was a piano player, so it adds to the ambiance. But, will I go back next time I have the chance to visit Dumaguete...no!Hi Slueventsgoddess, we want to sincerely apologized for your experience at Lab-as Restaurant. A big restaurant close to the sea, Lantaw is a great discovery. We ordered baked scallops topped with lots of garlic. They were so juicy and tender. The calamari was okay. But the crab cooked in butter and garlic was phenomenal: I could have finished the sauce by serving it over rice but that wouldnât be so healthy (lol). Great seafood place, for sure.

Unlike other restaurants that offer a multitude of food choices, Adamo does the opposite, but compensates for the limited offerings by overwhelming you with dishes that are simply delicious. The Shrimp Pasta, Boneless Crispy Pata, Braised Beef Shank and Smoked Pork Belly Pancit that my family of 4 had for dinner are just heaven to the taste buds. With quick, attentive staff and a homey ambiance that's perfect for conversations, Chef Edison better do quickly the earlier opening hours and expansion he was talking about since we're looking forward to coming back for more.

nevas is the best food value in dumaguete city!! the only shortcoming is atmosphere and location which are both tending towards unremarkable, which in turn i am sure helps keep the prices downgreat food, lowest costs in dumaguete, you always take food home so the portions are generous. great pizza, italian and mediterranean choices plus filipino dishescollege student hangout, just out of downtown on hibbard, just north of silliman u

There is an abundance of chicken restaurants in this country. From well known local brands named Jollibi and Mang Inasal to foreign brands like KFC, McDonalds and others. One of these chains of local restaurants is Joâs Chicken Inato. Its famous for their grilled chicken that have a succulent distinct taste. It also offers other foods in their menu like sizzling squid, pork and prawns and noodles cooked the Filipino way which probably enticed people to flock and eat in this restaurant.

Lab-as Seafood Restaurant has been around since 1988, and continues to live up to its name âlab-asâ (Cebuano term of fresh, particularly pertaining to fish and seafood), serving the freshest of seafood, with live crabs, lobsters, prawns, oysters, choice o
We actually went here twice in 2 days. So it's quite remarkable that they managed to make mistakes on the bills both times and they are one of only two restaurants in Dumaguete that I'm aware of that have a Service Charge (5%).You may think (depending where you come from) that 5% SC is reasonable. But the SC we paid for one meal would almost pay one waiters salary and does it actually go to the staff? On the first occasion we had ordered kinilaw (raw spicy fish with salad), it was only after we had left the restaurant that we realised we'd paid for it but never had it. partly our fault I guess. The second occasion, I scrutinised the bill and found Pinakbet there, which we had neither ordered nor eaten. After telling the waiter, we had to wait ages for the corrected bill. We have eaten there many times and it is not the first time there have been "mistakes" in the bill, always in the restaurants favour I have to say.As for the food, mostly it is fine and we do like the Bouillabaisse seafood soup with tomato and coconut base, as well as the Lumpiang Isda and steamed oysters. But prices (for Dumaguete) are not cheap and of course there is that SC.Hi KendalVisayas thank you for leaving a feedback and thank you for bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologized for your this experience, we are always aiming for good service and good food. We would love to see you in the future and serve you. My expectations were high since this is listed on top of the âmust triesâ restaurants when in Dumaguete.Pros (+)- Service was great. Food attendants were smiling, polite & service-oriented.- Place is located near Silliman University, walking-distance from the boulevard. Everyone knows the place.- Chicken Pasta Penne wasnât too great but thatâs the only food that stood out for me - Average pricingCons (-) - Gutted over the food. At least the ones that we ordered werenât good IMO. - KRI Ramen was a let down. Tasted average to become a bestseller (soup)- Truffle Bleu cheese burger with bacon, their bestseller (burgers) was pretty average for my palate. The banana chips side dish couldnât save it either. Fries or potato wedges would have complemented it better.Verdict: Iâd order something else if I decide to go back.
Redhouse Restaurant Taiwan Shabu-Shabu the famous hot pot in Cebu and is the first restaurant in Dumaguete who will serve the iconic and authentic savory broth from Tainan, Taiwan.
When I heard that Red House Taiwan Sha-bu Sha-bu is opening and having a branch here in Dumaguete, I said to myself that I will not be missing it. So after a week when they opened, I went and tried their foods This restaurant is actually good. The shabu-shabu we had was delicious.Their staffs were so accommodating. They do have wifi of course. The place is air-conditioned. You can also make your own sauce. But don't expect it to be cheap. If only they do serve a pitcher of iced tea or anything for drinks. The place is really not that spacious.Thank you so much for the review and suggestion sir. We appreciate it a lot. :) we love how you took the photos too. We have free hot tea or iced tea sir you can tell our crew on your next visit :). Team Redhouse is working on for the extension of the second floor hopefully done before the year ends. Hope to have you here again :). Please visit Lunch time we are giving a 10% discount on your total bill except drinks. :) God Speed.
