Sazan is very much a good Japanese restaurant in almost every sense of the term. Once you sit down, Service is very good, efficient, quick, and courteous. The appetizer menu is excellent with literally dozens of choices. I enjoyed the octopus with pickles. The main menu was good and contained traditional choices typical of Japanese restaurants. I had the special sashimi. The fish was excellent, fresh and tasty. The presentation was classic Japanese, very artistic. In addition to the shredded daikon there were at least 4 types of seaweed under the fish. By the way, the scallops were outstanding. The only issue I have is that were were asked if we had reservations, we didnât, but half the tables were open. After a few minutes wait we were seated. Then service improved.

I was shopping at Ridgehill and we decided to take a break and have lunch. We went to the Yard House. Place always surprises us. I love Nachos. Well their Nachos dish is big enough to feed five people and it was only me. That was my lunch. It had such flavor. Chicken pieces with melted cheese and lots of cilantro, fresh multicolored chips, oh I was in Nacho heaven. Excellent place. Great crowd.
Nice small restaurant. Park across the street. Some good little starters such as tempura, shumai, edamame. Miso ramen was excellent. The broth was tasty, thick enough, and not too salty. We over ordered and had to take home the boneless galbi. Nice Japanese-Korean food. We didnt pick from nice alcohol selection. Next time. Carolina was out server and very friendly.

Ideally located on Central Park Avenue with parking spaces in the rear of the restaurant. We were warmly greeted with a bow and "namaste" and seated immediately. The menu is mostly Indian and Mongolian but Asian influences were also present. It is a white-table-cloth environment with soothing music in the background and subtle lighting; there is not much of an ambiance outside the storefront window. The service was first-rate, the food prepared fresh and at the right temperature and we most enjoyed our dining experience at the Jewel!

We live nearby and have made this our new standby favorite - going about once per week. The sushi is fresh and well priced. Our kids like the menu variety for other types of Asian food. The service is always courteous and the price is right.
Located in Rivertowns Square, just off the Saw Mill Parkway in Dobbs Ferry, this Asian restaurant is very convenient for local residents, guests of the nearby Hilton Garden Inn, employees in the area, and users of the New York SportsClubs (that's us) across the street. The dining room is spacious and has nice eye appeal. The menu offers various Asian cuisines. There is a special lunch menu with a very reasonable price. The management of the restaurant is very accommodating. Although our group filled two long tables, each person was able to order whatever they wanted and we were all given individual checks! Not everyone was happy. Some food wasn't hot enough; one woman didn't get what she ordered until she asked several times and finally got it after most people had finished eating. I ordered salad instead of soup to start and the lettuce hadn't been drained well, so the dressing was watery. But the sushi rolls I ordered were delicious.

Our family always enjoys the food and friendly service at this local restaurant. The sushi is amazingly fresh and consistently delicious. The tempura is crispy and tasty and the miso soup is among the best we've ever eaten.

Have been here a few times and am always pleasantly surprised by the quality of his fish and his inventive appetizers. We had a quartet of Kumamoto Oysters with a delicious dashi mignonette, octopus salad, yellowtail over soba, and a while mackerel (pictured). All delicious. Also a mix of sushi and sashimi of excellent quality. This is no compromise place, itâs as good as anything youâd find in the city. We're delighted to keep pleasantly surprising you, Robert. Thank you for the wonderful review! We hope to see you again soon.Warm wishes,Sushi Mike's
