Whether I eat in the restaurant or order take-out, I am never disappointed. My absolute favorite is their chicken pad thai and it has been flat out amazing every time. Their drunken noodles are delicious and even a simple dish like their orange chicken is mouth watering. While you should make sure they're open (open @ 4 on weekends), they are worth the wait into the evening hours.

This restaurant has the most friendly owners who are willing to accommodate any variations in food order to suit your taste. Their best dishes are not generally on the menu but if you can describe what you wish to eat, you will be pleasantly surprised by what the kitchen would do for you. Most of the dishes on the menu are "run of the mill" Chinese dishes. These are reasonably priced. However, if one wants real treat from this restaurant, one should go for their specialty dishes. They are little pricy but well worth the extra money.Service is fast. Food quantity used to be more but has shrunk a bit lately.
I had seen this place from the street a number of times and made note to stop in for dinner sometime. Tonight was the night along with a friend. Not a large place, we were greeted warmly and led to a table for two right in front of the piano where karaoke was going on, "the greatest love" "honesty" etc, you get the idea. Winston the owner, waiting on us and making sure we didn't have any questions. Also mentioned to us if we had suggestions for the person playing the piano, to go ahead and make them.I had Adobong Kambing (goat meat adobo), this was simply outstanding, the spices, soy sauce/vinegar, pepper with bone-in chopped goat meat. (if not a fan of goat, other meats are available)Friend had Lechon Kawali - fried hunks of perfect pork goodness. There have been numerous times where the lechon I've had in Filipino restuarants has either been old or very overfried so that the meat was dry. This version was VERY juicy and skin super crispy, cooked perfectly. Plenty of other dishes to choose from, wish they had a website but they do have a FB page.

I got the Braised Pork Noodles and it was supposed to be spicy. It was very bland. I had to add more of the Chili/oil on the table to get any spice in it. The noodles on the bottom were dry and I had to blend them thoroughly with the conservative portion of pork topping to moisten them up. It could be that I got there after the lunch rush but I really wasn't impressed. The prices were not the $ range but closer to the $$ range especially since all is ala cart.

Our favorite place for sushi. I enjoy the atmosphere - comfortable and lively, but not so loud that you canât carry a conversation. Food is consistently good but on more than one occasion, when the restaurant is busier, the service has been below average. Servers are always friendly but it seems as though they canât keep up with the traffic. Most recently, we were seated for more than five minutes before our server introduced herself. Drinks took too long to show up and we had to flag her down for another round. Same deal trying to get and then pay the bill. She did the best she could (and with a smile) but poor service has been the rule lately rather than the exception.

Nice eclectic sushi restaurant tucked away. Nice ambience inside and a wide selection of entrees on their menu. Staff was also very friendly. Sushi was great and prices were very reasonable. I had the Urban Heat signature roll. My husband had the Godzilla roll which were fried. Both tasted really good. We also got a free little appetizer and ice cream with our meal. Our meal came with a salad and miso soup. It was filling and satisfying.

Hidden gem! Was a little apprehensive when we arrived, we were the only patrons at 6:30p. But what a surprise! Customers, mostly Korean, started to arrive. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered Kalbi BBQ and the hot coal pot really adds to the flavors! Moondu (Korean Dumplings), dol sot bibam pap (hot pot rice bowls with mixed vegetables) and soon do tofu chigae were just like my mom used to make. The side dishes were a great mix and fresh. The one and only very very small disappointment was the Kimchi was served a little on the sour side. It's actually the way kimchi is made to be eaten but my son prefers the fresher, less fermented version as do I. Would have lunch and dinner there everyday for our trip.

Great service, small restaurant but nice atmosphere. Awesome food! Very creative and a HUGE selection of rolls. They have wine and beer. They will package it to go if you wish. Parking is on the street. Try one of the dragon rolls. Yummy!!! Not inexpensive!

Ordered the pho tai, their beef pho. broth came out with chicken broth. Wth... Not only that, but the broth tasted like it was from powder, like they didn't make it themselves. I could have gone to the store for chicken stock and boiled some noodles. That's not authentic. What kind of beef pho has chicken broth? I would have ordered the pho gia if I wanted chicken. I grew up in a Vietnamese town with pho restaurants and moved here, hoping to find something that reminded me of home. But this was a huge disappoimtment. The broth is very important to the dish. Not only that, but they had very little noodles and meat in the bowl. I dont even want to talk about the meat slices. The quality overall was really poor compared to the price. Only good thing here was the service. Sorry, but never coming here again. I'd rather travel an hour to Chicago for good pho.

Located in a small mall on the northeast corner of Northwest Highway and Mt. Prospect Rd., there is plenty of parking for the House of Szechwan. From the time that you walk between the lions at the front door, you will feel like you are in a Chinatown restaurant. The interior is nicely decorated with a lot of red which in the Chinese culture symbolizes luck, happiness and joy. The staff was very friendly and our Latina waitress was efficient and personable, and seemed to enjoy interacting with our grandkids. There were five of us, and that included two 4 year olds and one 2 year old. We immediately ordered three orders of potstickers for the kids and believe me, we were quite surprised as to how big each of those potstickers was. Not only were they big, but they tasted really, really good. Next time, I'm going to order crab Rangoon just to see if those taste that good, too. We ordered a pork fried rice and a chicken fried rice. With a couple of extra plates and tea cups, we were able to spread the food and soups around. The egg drop soup was delicious, at least for the one spoonful that I got, since my grandson ended up liking it so much that I never got another try. Both fried rices were very tasty and were huge portions. House of Szechwan is very clean and well-kept, including the restrooms. The prices were quite reasonable for the amount of food that you receive.
