Derry was also for a time the home of the poet Robert Frost and his family.

Reading the reviews of restaurants is sometimes misleading. If people have only had mediocre Chinese, Indian or Thai food they may believe a restaurant is the best in the area. That may even be true, it may be the best in the area, the best of many truly mediocre or even bad restaurants. Sadly there are few really good Chinese restaurants and they are scattered throughout the country, mostly in large cities. This small predominantly take-out place was highly reviewed, but in my opinion was just another average Chinese restaurant with overly salty and greasy food. The Szechuan string beans with pork was ok, but nothing like the truly sublime dish it is capable of bing and the mu shi chicken was made almost entirely of shredded white cabbage, salty condiments and dark meat chicken. Again I have had much better.

This restaurant is on my way home if I take the back roads, and we figured we'd try their take-out as another Chinese food option.Unfortunately, the overall quality of the food, while hot, was not very good. A highlight was the plentiful wonton soup, filled with tons of pork and veggies along with the wontons, but the soup's flavor was not very strong or brothy. Another better-than-average was the lo mein, but while we enjoyed the extra wide, linguini-style noodles, they were undercooked and a bit tough. The best was definitely the teriyaki chicken on a stick that comes with the pupu platter which had a delicious honey coating and was cooked perfectly -- and even the beef teriyaki was good. But the rangoons were tough and greasy, the chicken fingers were also overcooked, and the General Gau's was only lightly covered in a very light, flavorless sauce, and the chicken wasn't cooked well either. That should have been the standout dish, but it was completely underwhelming.I was sadly quite disappointed, and I don't think we'll be visiting here again, unfortunately.

My family eats take out from this restaurant at least once every two weeks. My daughter always craves chinese so we go here because its close and there are no other better Chinese options in Town. Food is consistent, wife says the sushi is good. I like Chinese but I always regret eating it, makes me like crap. They have been in the same spot now for several years so they must be doing something right. I recommend driving 20 minutes north to Schezuan House in Manchester (Valley St., near Gill Stadium?), much better food.

Well, the food was good and the service was good even though the place was pretty crowded. This was our first time here on a Saturday afternoon. Higher priced than most Chinese restaurants. However, their menu includes sushi, Japanese, and possibly some Thai influence. The dishes that are supposed to include vegetables were somewhat scarce on veggies, but huge amounts of rice. Then, after drinking lots of water, we needed to use the Restrooms. Though they had a caution sign at the door, we entered to find the toilets completely clogged and unable to be flushed. We were told that this was the first time this has happened and both Men's and Women's Restrooms were affected. It was pretty nasty and there were no other options except leave and find a working restroom.

The food is so fresh, service is quick, staff are friendly. I was introduced to this restaurant in the Fall, and now we try to make monthly trips with friends and family. Plenty of room where you do not feel people are on top of each other. The price is very fair. To feed a group of 8 is much cheaper than a chain restaurant. The drinks are worth the price, and the price is just right. I highly recommend this restaurant, it is not disappointing. They were able to accommodate groups.

Usually order the same food every time since we enjoy their wings, beef lomein, shrimp fried rice, and the combination dinners quite often due to the pricing AND portions. I have recommended Dim Sum to all my friends and they have thanked me for the "tip". Their eggrolls are delicious as well, in fact EVERYTHING we have tried has been quite tasty.

There are wet and dry noodle dishes. Spicy and mild options. Great appetizers. Good pics on the menus to help you decide. The mango bubble tea was perfect. Small, comfortable and central location. Friendly staff, Excellent experience for our first time. Would definitely return again.

my wife and I just recently moved to Derry from Florida. we don't make it a habit to dine out but we happened to pass this restaurant and decided lets try their take out . we stopped in a got a menu and later we ordered and within 20 minutes our food was prepared and ready. the portions were ample and we will probably get three meals out of it. for the price that is outstanding. the food was hot and well prepared and good. will definitely go back soon.

Three of us ate here, for dinner sushi. As the night progressed it got busier. The down side is the waitress hasn't a clue what's in sushi. I don't think she even eats it. We asked several questions about the rolls and she couldn't answer them, nor did she get someone who could answer them. The rolls were made inconsistently, some big some small. The fish was warm, I like cold. One guy had no problems and kept eating.

Food was very good... Ambiance was cold... strip mall, loud colors and colorful graphics. Wouldn't take a date here, but great for quick meal.
