Modern, international, fusion and healthy cuisine. Using only fresh and mostly organic ingredients. Provide always vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.
From arrival through advice, ordering, service and leaving this was a very pleasurable experience. The staff are attentive at just the right level, their advice is highly knowledgeable, the cooking is to a very high standard and the food absolutely delicious. The owners are very proud of their restaurant, and quite rightly so. We will definitely be returning for a try at a different tasting menu.Dear Mr CovielloThank you very much for the fantastic review. We are glad, that you enjoyed your dinner and the service in Yama. Restaurant Emerald is one of the few Chinese restaurants in Davos. It is located near the Hotel Seehof. We called up and booked a table here (as many of the other restaurants in Davos were booked up). However, when we turned up, the waiter did not seem too keen to sit us down. Thereafter, we ordered soup and some dishes. It took them 45 minutes to bring out the soup, and this was after having complained to them several times about the slow service. The soup was very average, and should not have taken so long to prepare. Our main dishes did not arrive for another 30 minutes. Every time we asked where our food was, we were either ignored or the waiter would just nod his head and run off. We feel that they should have at least told us if they were having troubles in the kitchen or there was some reason why the food would take longer than expected. We complained again at the end of the meal, but they did not apologise or admit fault. It was as though this was a completely normal situation to them. The food was not great, either too salty or too bland, and it was definitely not worth the 75 minute wait. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.Thank you for your feedback. Apologies for the inconvenience during your visit in the restaurant.Every start is bound with certain hidden difficulties. Necessary actions are taken to solve the problems.
Leonto Gourmet Restaurant is a small restaurant, within the Grischa hotel, offering brilliant food in a very pleasant setting, with a very dedicated staff and a brilliant chef. We had the set menu organised for New Year's Eve, and were pleasantly surprised by each course individually and the combination offered. We floated happily into the New Year. Leonto is definitely a place worthwhile visiting when in or around Davos but also merits a detour!
