Writers and poets have long flourished in arts-oriented Cuenca, the country's third-largest city and the capital of the Azuay province. Cafes and galleries are tucked among the narrow cobblestone streets. The main plaza hosts both the old cathedral, started in 1557, the year the city was founded, and the blue-domed Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, dating to 1885. Locally made Panama hats get top billing at the markets, with centrally located Casa de la Mujer a shopping standout.

We ate here tonight again, after returning from an art show opening. The food was excellent, as it always has been, and with reasonable prices.Very small restaurant on Calle Larga in Centro Cuenca. Of the 3 sushi places in town, this is easily our favorite.

We go to this place 2-4 times a week, they open only for lunch and is all vegetarian. The food is excellent, plenty, varied and cannot beat the price. There are daily specials and you can pick 4 items out of 8 plus rice, soup and juice. They also have fried rice and you can mixed and match as you like. All is tasty, no meat at all except soy meat. They have inside and outside seating, quiet relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The restaurant is small with very uncomfortable wooden stools. Traffic noise is problematic and the exhaust fumes from the street are unappetizing. Definitely not a place to discuss business or carry on any semblance of conversation. The owner and waiters are friendly but an hour on the stools is torture.

I was blown away by the ridiculously delicious hummus with grilled veggies and focaccia. Pricing is very reasonable, staff very friendly, and the ambience just right. Do yourself a favor and visit this quaint little eatery for lunch or dinner.

Authentic Thai cuisine prepared by a passionate Thai chef. All ingredients fresh daily from the farmer market. We offer gluten free,as well as vegetarian food.
Decided upon Thai after big day of transit and boy oh boy was it what we wanted. Started with delicious springs rolls and got two pad thais, one shrimp and one chicken as our mains. All food was very filling and tasted very good. Service was quick but we were only one of two tables at the restaurant. I would eat here again. I liked the way the broccoli was cooked in the meal. Muy rico!!
