Find out what Asian restaurants to try in Crans-Montana. Crans-Montana actually comprises two ski resorts, Crans-sur-Sierre and Montana-Vermala, although for all intents and purposes, they function as one. Popular with affluent Italians, the skiing is good (best for beginners and intermediates), but the shopping, eating and drinking are even better. The resort claims to be on the sunniest plateau in the Alps, and indeed the snow is often lacking, but the views over the RhÂne are superb. Every September, the resort hosts the European Masters golf tournament.

We went to Dun Huang by chance one night and we ordered the Peking Duck (normally a main course) as a starter for 3 adults. It was the best Peking Duck EVER. It was so well cooked - not one bit of wobbly fat anywhere! And there was so much meat that 2 of us couldn't even order our "main" courses! I would go back to CransMontana just to eat this Peking Duck. Awesome.

Mizuki by Kakinuma, created with Kakinuma Restaurants in Geneva, serves contemporary Japanese Cuisine of the highest standards of quality and authenticity. The menu includes such delicacies as grilled Wagyu beef, crispy tempura, delicious shabu-shabu and
This must be the best and most authentic Japanese food I have had outside of Japan, a land and a culture that I know well for having travelled there several times. The food is delicious, the tastes are subtle and the service is warm and friendly. My wife and I have spent a wonderful evening here. Mizuki Restaurant is a great adding to the culinary landscape of Crans Montana. It might be a surprising step for a luxury mountain hotel to have their main restaurant with a Japanese food offer, but they greatly succeed by doing that. I love it and will be back very soon. Dear guest,Your very positive comments about our new restaurant are very much appreciated and I thank you for it. I am happy that you as a connoisseur of Japanese culture, enjoy the concept of our restaurant MiZUKi by Kakinuma. I have shared your feedback with all our team and with the Kakinuma family. Your support gives us the motiviation to continue striving for excellence in order to satisfy all our guests. With my best regards,Simon SchenkGeneral Manager

Our rustically furnished "Swiss Corner" serves Swiss specialties; our main Restaurant offers a wide choice of French and Alps flavours dishes⦠two places not to be missed.
We are staying at the Hotel and will review that elsewhere. We have eaten in the hotel twice, in the swiss restaurant and in the main restaurant. On both occasions we had excellent service, attentive staff and very friendly atmosphere. The food was excellent ( we have the fondue one night and main menu another ) and the servings very large, just what you need after a day's skiing. Wine list was good and not over priced. I would thoroughly recommend this whether you are staying at the hotel or not.We are pleased to receive your great review. Our main concepts are familiarity and professionality and we are happy that you appreciated this as well as our menu.

We visited this restaurant for a friend's birthday dinner. We had reserved this place in advance after hearing many brilliant reviews from Trip Advisor and from the locals of Bluche. We knew that it was not going to be a cheap meal but we thought we would give it a try for a special occasion. The decor and interior were very nice and welcoming. However the food was over priced for its quality. The sushi was certainly not fresh and considering that we had paid around 100 CHF for a boat of around 30 sushi, it was not value for money. The worst part for us though was the service. One of the waiters who served us was beyond rude (ginger hair). He came over to the table to take our orders at the start of the meal. Since there were many of us at the table, some of us were talking whilst others were ordering. Two of my friends in the middle of a conversation and the waiter asked for their order however they did not hear him. He leant over the table and banged on the table in front of them to grab their attention! I was absolutely shocked at his behaviour. He then had the nerve to apologise and say sorry but you guys were talking, can I take your order now? I couldn't believe it. Considering that this establishment is ran by an alumni of the neighbouring hospitality management, this restaurant's service was appalling and the quality of the food was disappointing. For these reasons, I do no recommend this place at all. Had the food been better, I could've at least given it another go but the service just marred my experience of this place.

We came here for lunch and the food and service was very good but just not speedy, but when the food arrived it was delicious and tasty (see pics). The cocktails were really good and all the food really nice, definitely worth a visit especially if it's warm as you can sit outside and watch the world go by...

This one in Sierre is good value for money & portions are large. The food is a must go for Asians & vegetarians. It's got seating & has a quick turn around crowd. One can take food to go S well. It's right across the funicular stop
