I have eaten at this restaurant several times in the past few months and it always met or exceeded expectations.Even on the night of the Cranleigh bonfire event, when it was extremely busy, they managed to produce a good meal in a reasonable time.I thought we were going to be disappointed today when we stopped by without a reservation to partake of the Sunday lunch buffet. Due to lack of reservations they had not set up the buffe. However, upon seeing us, they rustled up a personalised buffet within 10 minutes and served us a mixture of (too many!) excellent dishes in lieu of the buffet.Well done.

A chic Indian restaurant, Rana is conveniently situated on the main thoroughfare of Surreys pretty Cranleigh village. Boasting opulent Indian dining, the owners of Rana have taken great care to produce an atmosphere and look worthy of their c
Visited using the tastecard. We found the restaurant to be impeccably clean, beautiful white linen tablecloths, with very good service and tasty food. We asked for our meals madras hot, and this is exactly how it came with a lovely flavour and spice. The food was of good quality, with plenty of chicken, and we would be very happy to return. Definitely worth trying.
Wow standards have really dropped - chicken satay to start with was unbelievably tough and gristly and even the peanut sauce didnât taste of peanut but was watery and thin. The mains of Beef in Black Bean sauce was only just ok. The egg fried rice was poor as were the mixed vegetables.Who wonât bother to come back.

A modern twist in Indian dining scene. We cook with our heart.
Not familiar with Guildford so used TripAdvisor to find this Indian restaurant. As others have said, very short menu with nothing standard fare. Very much enjoyed a mixed vegetable tiki, beautifully served and tasting delicious. Amuses bouches of the kind served in posh French restaurant with both a cup of the most delicious soup and a puri. Main course as venison a first for me in a restaurant of this type. Would definitely come back.

LOVE this tapas restaurant in Godalming. It's a MUST visit. Delicious choice of tapas all prepared with fresh ingredients and delivious flavours. The pork belly, monk fish and crab are my personal favourite. Lovely space, modern with cool artwork, great service and the best bloody mary i have had. Also a perfect place to take large groups as plenty of room with buzzing atmosphere.
