Don't be fooled by the exterior of the building... the food is outstanding! Appetizers and meal were both delicious. Server was friendly and attentive. Our only issue is that there is a diffuser in the restaurant which has a strong lemon scent. This detracted from our experience. We would absolutely return for take-out.

Small place, big flavor! We sat in the little dinning area and it was an old school feel. Like a little 60's sandwich shop. The staff was nice and place was clean. There were 5 of us and we all ordered something different so we could try a bunch of their foods. Everything was delicious! The fresh rolls with hosin sauce was great and refreshing since it was so hot outside. The coconut rice was perfectly sweet. I ordered the beef Drunken Noodles and will definitely be ordering that again. Chicken satay app with peanut sauce was amazing. Three of the people that came with us said it was the best peanut dipping sauce they've ever had. We will be back!

Hidden in plain sight on Hamilton Blvd in downtown Allentown is a great little restaurant worth giving a try. We heard about Bay Leaf from a regular customer who lives in Massachusetts and travels to this area regularly.Delightful menu! Check it out on their website. The selection of apps, entrees and specials made choosing daunting but we were successful. Salads were great. Caesar was made on premises. Petite salad was wonderful too. Entrees were prepared and presented well. Steak au Poivre was perfect! Portions were nicely sized. We took home our desserts.Restaurant has free parking in the rear. Ask for directions when you call. Save yourself the walk and a couple of bucks.
