Travelling through Coffs and was actually looking for a different café for lunch but couldnât find it. Walked past Ootoya and liked the look of it so stopped in. Had mixed tempura, octopus balls, karaage chicken, salmon and avo sushi rolls and spider rolls. So nice to have fresh, tasty food instead of greasy fast food while travelling. Well worth the stop!

Hadn't been here for a while. Nice friendly staff , good range of menu options , very fast service. Food was good although for my takeaway they hadn't included the lettuce leaves for the San Choy Bow - on the receipt is a reminder to get the lettuce from the frig!

These guys have the best food and we always get great service everytime we go there.They have an awesome variety of flavours, their coffee is amazing & the corn & chocolate brownies are next level. We make sure we visit everytime we're in Coffs or at a market there at.Would definitely recommend!

This place is a real find in Coffs Harbour. Open air in the CBD with fast service, exceptional Japanese food at a fair price. Our girls meet here every week and just love it.

Overall it was a good meal. The staff were attentive and the food came out quite quickly.We had the chicken cashew stirfy which was really nice and the sizzling beef which was ok, but a little flat in flavour.the restauant is BYO for wine which was great.

I wanted a quick lunch that did not cost me a fortune. A sit down on the run type meal. Fantastic! Garlic beef with rice for $10. The meat was tender, beautu=ifully succulently prepared, lots of garlic, firm fresh vegetable and beautiful rice. You really can't get better. Delivered very promptly indeed. The food experience was excellent!The niggles were music that was way too loud, and items like an old table and a sign were just propped up around the walls. Yeah a bit pedantic but is it an eating place or someones garage?The reason you would eat here though are good food at a good price. Could not be faulted.

Our family group of 14 was seated in the top room, lacking atmosphere as the music doesnât play up there, not to mention the fact we felt continually forgotten by wait staff. Having arrived at 6pm, it was 3 hours before our meals arrived, the Brussels sprout salad was burnt. Luckily we had a spare soup due to one of our party having to leave with a small child before the food, they were running so late. They sent up 2 free plates of garlic bread, only 8 pieces for a group of 14 anyway. Manager came up and apologized, but in an angry flustered, Faulty-esque way. Some of us had flown interstate to celebrate a milestone birthday, so we were all very disappointed. 20% off the bill didnât make it right. The locals in the group have said they wonât be back. A big fail.

This is our favorite Thai restaurant and we eat there everytime we pass through Coffs Harbour. The food is excellent and authentic, the staff pleasant and usually efficient. On this occasion our visit was marred by a new employee who had limited English skills. Our order for Chicken Laksa (without tofu) was mistaken for Vegetarian Laksa and after a 25 minute wait (it was very busy) is arrived without chicken. We waiting another 15 minutes for it to be remade. While the owner was apologetic, no compensation was offered. We will return but will obtain clear confirmation of our order in future.
