We serve local, organically shade-grown Arabica coffee beans freshly roasted every day. We also serve simple, soul-food. There are also free wi-fi, toilet, showers, and camping grounds, where you can stop by and prepare for your trip further north :)
Fresh coffee, home bakery, easy bites, light cuisine
We enjoyed 2 meals and several drink breaks at The Terrace during our stay in the At Home cabins, which are situated in the grounds behind the restaurant. The Terrace is newly built and recently opened and offers tables inside and outside on the deck, from where you have views of the garden and the nearby mountains. We sampled many of the dishes on the menu and rate the Phad Thai wrapped in an omelette as the best we ate during our time in Thailand. The wholemeal pizza pocket was a treat - roast pumpkin for the vegetarians and for meat lovers, a chorizo version. The fish and chips were superb; the fish was perfect - crispy batter on the outside, moist and tasty on the inside. The curries were fresh and tasty with just the right amount of heat. The staff at The Terrace was friendly and helpful and even offered local travel advice, which we appreciated. I would highly recommend you visit The Terrace during your stay in Chiang Dao.

Eat Station in Chiang Dao, opposite the Bus Station, served the best food I ate during my week in Chiang Mai and Chiang Dao. Unpretentious and superb value!!! Donât miss it!!! I had breakfast and lunch there with my Khmer friend. Lunch was so good, I ordered twice. The young man who cooked and served our food was a gent ...... really helpful!!! The coffee is super also. Due to personal changes, our restaurant will be closed until September 2020. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to see you again next year, in September and throughout high season, over the Winter. Thank you for your patience.
Ive been traveling around Thailand for over 20yrs. I couldn't believe little chiang dao could over such fantastic dishes. Everything from Thai to western food. Best I've had in all my travels to Thailand. Also the air con room was excellent and super cleen. Priced verry affordable.

This restaurant is located on Route 107, about 500 meters South of the crossing with the street that leads to the Chiang Dao Cave (the Tripadvisor map shows the restaurant North of the intersection; this is wrong!). The restaurant is on the Eastern side (i.e. to your right when you come from Chiang Mai). Sanae Doi Luang has a very nice garden setting. They only serve Thai food. We had four dishes. The lemon grass/shrimp salad was excellent, the Naem and mixed mushrooms were good and the Nam prig oong (a Northern Thai specialty) was a bit disappointing. For the four dishes and two bottles of beer we paid 800 Baht which is very reasonable given the very nice setting. Please note that the restaurant closes at 9 pm.

We opened this restaurant December 2009. It is built it with teak wood in classical thai style. The location is in scenic area in front of Malee"s Bungalow and just before the Nest. Our menu is mainly Thai, some western food available as well. Our prices
I dined at malee'e restaurant for 2 days (breakfast and dinners) and really enjoyed the tasty Thai meals. Nothing fancy, just excellent traditional Thai cooking. I am a resident of Thailand and have no hesitation in recommending malee's restuarant for grat value real Thai foodDouglas KirwinBangkok

Haven lived in Mae Rim for 15 years, Baan Suan Mae Rim is the best Thai restaurant around the neighbourhood. Ingredients and herbs are ultra fresh. I particularly like the stuffed squid soup with glass noodle, which is their speciality. You have to ask for it as it is not on the menu. Vegetable tempura is also delicious. We like the table by the water. Nothing fancy, but down to earth.

Chiang Dao Resto is an artistically modern and internationally decorated Restaurant & Lounge serving a variety of local Thai & European cuisine. We invite you to enjoy our beautiful mountain views while sipping upon something lovely from our Cafe or treat
This is my second visit with a year since the last & im happy to report that the food & service was as good as the first visit. There were 4 of us dinning & we got to try & share many of the dishes. The have 2 entree platter that were a fab was to try many of the starters. The whole fish with lemon was superb as a main. The view if the mountains are beautiful making sitting outside a must for our group. The staff were professional & very helpful with menu suggestions. I visit this part of the world once a year & again I'd come back to dine here.

Great spot, relaxing, quiet and with pretty awesome views. They do advise that they only take bookings due to minimal staff, so at least you know where you stand on that front.Food was good, well presented, but worth the price? Very much a personal choice. To me? No it wasnât.
