You have to try out the Shiki if you love japanese food. First sign which should re-enforce this message is the fact that many japanese are going to this restaurant. The food is authentic, everything is so fresh and to be honest you will want to try everything.... so difficult to choose. Often, we have taken the "discovery" menu.... 2 out of the 3 times we tasted it, it was just amazing. There is one time where we have been a little bit disappointed. The service is basic, but you should really go there for the food.

A visit to Chaville brought us to the Soirée Angkor, where Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai specialties are advertised on their business card. The host, Eric, was pleasant, engaging, jovial, and hospitable and also served the several tables quickly and efficiently. Soirée Angkor is an intimate restaurant. We enjoyed the food. Eric was particularly aware of gluten-free needs, and was knowledgeable about his menu. Everything was fresh, delicious, and worth the visit, and at reasonable prices. Among other dishes, we ate phÅ (with rice noodles), and giant shrimp with salt and pepper. The spring rolls were large and copious, and the nems (egg rolls) were the crispiest we've had in years, with plenty of pork inside.Chaville is a suburb of Paris, and the restaurant is on the 171 bus line which runs from just outside the Pont de SÄvres Metro station (Metro line 9) to right in front of the Versailles palace-- and back (the bus just makes a u-turn in front of the palace). Soirée Angkor is about 1/8 mile down the hill from the SNCF train station (NOT the RER station). few blocks down the hill.

Craving for sushi while visiting the chateau we resorted to Tripadvisor for help. The reviews were right on. Small restaurant with a large selection of sushi. The small boat had an excellent assortment and it was of very good quality. Being a very picky sushi "addict", I'd definitely return.

Le Rendez-Vous Enchanté means a fairy place to meet, where people would easily come back. It is declined in the guidelines: Quality: the menu is frequently changed to guarantee fresh and quality meals Affordable: all-year round Services: filtered water, f
The place has seating inside and outside. The decoration and visual impression of the restaurant is good, but not high end. I was initially concerned that this would be an indication for lower quality food. The restaurant is labeled as Asian, but to me it has many characteristics of a Chinese restaurant. It should more accurately be called a Chinese restaurant that also cooks other Asian food. The food is very similar to many Chinese buffets I experienced in other countries like Germany, but what makes this place stand out is a greater variety and higher than expected quality of the food. A lot of great fruit and deserts were offered that are usually not availble in a Chinese restaurant. Also some salads and other international European dishes. We payed 26.5 Euro per person for the buffet. You can also order from the menu.

Three of us went for dinner at Kim Yang in Chaville, which is a suburb of Paris. The menu was enormous, which is usually not a good sign. However, the three starters were all really good, and likewise the main courses. The undoubted star was the chicken breast stuffed with shrimps in a really fragrant, slightly sweet, slightly spicy sauce, served on a sizzling plate. The restaurant was reasonably full, and there seemed to be only one person serving. As a result, the service was slow and rather patchy. A couple of requests were forgotten, and the various dishes did not all arrive at the table at the same time.Despite this, the food was generally excellent and very good value. Recommended.

Very good service from a lovely and friendly couple. They can speak English, French, and mandarin. The food is tasty and affordable. Definitely recommend the chicken siomai, the teriyaki chicken balls, and their noodles.
