Reviews on Asian food in Cedar City, Utah, United States. Just a couple of hours north of Las Vegas lies an oasis called Cedar City. Home to Southern Utah University, and close to a number of scenic national parks, this charming and compact city offers visitors a great home base for exploring the area. Golf, skiing, biking and other outdoor recreational activities abound. In the summer, mountain bikers flock to the Brian Head Peak Activity Center, for challenging runs and spectacular scenery. Also called the "Festival City," Cedar City plays host to a number of prestigious film, theater and art festivals throughout the year (the summer Shakespearean Festival is one of the more well-known fetes), making anytime a great time to visit.

If you have a budget and want a quick Asian dish that is served quickly and full of flavor, then this is the place. We ordered the Spicy Chicken Salad. It is served to your request as to the level of "heat" you prefer. The choices are Mild, Medium, Hot of Death Crier. I like hot food so I went with Hot. I should have gone with Death Crier because the Hot was not that hot. Nonetheless, the salad was delicious. My wife and I would easily eat here again if given the opportunity. I wish they had them in Phoenix.

Similar to a gazilion other Panda Express locations. Decent Americanized Chinese food served by distantly polite employees. What stands out at this specific location are the windows in the corner of the restaurant. The windows go all the way to the ceiling to give you a beautiful view of the nearby mountains. It is really cool they cared enough to design their store like that.

When I moved to Cedar City From So. California, I missed the great selection of Asian food that California had to offer. There was a Thai food restaurant, but it was terrible, the worst Thai food I ever ate. Then this place opened - and what a difference! This is now one of my favorite restaurants in Cedar City.

I stopped by really wanting wonton soup, egg roll and some sushi.Let me start by saying nothing was labeled!!! Not labeling food leads to eating something you have no clue what your eating but my also be allergic to.The wontons themselves were very thick and mushy. The broth is as good. The miso soup was excellent. There was about 5 or 6 different soups. The egg rolls were tiny but good.I tried a little bit of everything. The lightly fried head on shrimp were good. The fried shrimp were crunch but over cooked. They had Manila clams in a brown broth that were out of this world. Tender, juicy nice flavor. This by far was my favorite item!!!The sushi was ok. It was a lot of fake crab which I do not eat. There was a fried shrimp roll that was good.Overall not bad but not sure if I would return.

Near Wal-Mart in Cedar City
This place serves Thai food unlike any Thai food I have ever seen. First it is bland, hardly any spices at all. Thai food is famous for it's spicy taste, but not here. Even if you order it extra spicy, it has no taste.Do yourself a favor and go to the other Thai restaurant in town. It is far superior, and is the "real thing."I suppose this place might appeal to people who don't really like Thai food.

Miso soup for all, edamame, a couple orders of gyoza (potstickers), a California roll, a jalapeño popper roll, and a corona roll added to entrees of New York steak cooked to order from medium rare to medium well. The teppan yaki chef was experienced and entertaining.

Visiting Cedar City can be as grand as the scenery surrounding it when it comes to where should we eat? Cedar City is not lacking in choices. Tonight was pizza night and as we all know, that could be hit or miss. We chose Pizza Factory and it was definitely a Hit! They offer three choices of and you could build your own pizza. We chose thin crust cheese and pepperoni delivered. Delivered within 20 minutes, it was still hot. I have to say, this was one of the top 5 pizzas i have ever eaten. The cheese was loaded and the pepperoni was crisp and perfectly spiced. The crust held it all up in spite of it being thin. A complete winner. Looking forward to trying other foods on the menu. We are definitely eating here again!!
