We have been here twice so far and had one take-away and everything was out-standing all the time. We had sushi twice and tried the Chinese fondue with the seafood option. Sushi is outstanding and we are quite spoiled normally with sushi, just relocating from Norway. Fish is fresh and delicately prepared with great skills. We wanted to try something different the last visit and opted for the Chinese fondue with the seafood. What a feast ! The staff delivered a gas burner, a big bowl of broth and a plate with different seafood and vegetable options. You basically add the fish and vegetable to the simmering broth and prepare to your likings. I don´t think that I tasted more delicious scallops or squid in my life. With the additional spices, egg noodles and sauces an experience we are already looking forward to experience again. Popping a raw egg into the broth to cook was interesting as well. The broth itself get´s more and more delicious as further the meal progresses. A fantastic experience. The restaurant is not very big and you should make reservations, specially if you are more then one couple.

I can't judge the decor or service - friends who live nearby proposed to get chinese food from this place, and they picked it up and brought it back to their house (the restaurant supposedly delivers, but they claimed they "were alone" and wouldn't bring the food..)I'm not an expert on chinese food, it is not a favourite of mine - but I know what is nice, and what is fresh and well cooked, and this was neither.The different dishes looked, smelled and tasted the same. They came in a brownish sauce, a couple of vegetables swimming in the sauce (the best thing about the food). Apparently the main ingredient of the different dishes was supposed to be fish: mushy pieces of something remotely resembling fish chunks in a floury batter. The rice plentifyl but hard and without any distinctive taste. All in all? Avoid.

We were very hungry and found the right place: after a long meeting day we had the menue with appetizers, soup and eggroll, a very tasty main dish, followed by ice cream. Each of the dishes was well prepared and served by very friendly staff. You don`t expect this in a small village like Kleinbettingen. Always again when I have a meeting in Luxemburg.

From everything I heard about this restaurant, my expectations were quite high.Service: 09/10 - very friendly although a bit slowFood: 6/10Sushi california crevette & mango = no taste, I honestly think it was surimi and not crevettes (fluorescent orange was shining through) Saumon roll and cheese = perfectMaki Thon = perfectSushi Pulpo = okGyoza = perfectRamen: were rather noodles with some pieces of meat... No soup and no egg here...

We come often here. All is delicious, quality is great compared to others far more expensive with a very friendly and open service. Location is not evident but quality finds itself. Was previously located in Bridel now in Goetzingen. Worthwhile the detour and enjoy dishes which are not to much tainted by our standards.

Been here for a business lunch, I was positively surprised by the lovely interior. The service was personally and very good. I had the steak Thai style which was truly tasty!

We have visited papaya regularly the last 18months. Ever two weeks. Sushi always great, but service is even for Lux standards terrible. Last weekend we had to wait for 90mins for our dishes, no communication or apology. Staff was even aggressive and saw no reason why we asked. Unheard of, especially as regular client. Eventual it was the quantity of takeaway orders that caused the problem. In our viewing, understaffing! We are done with this place, no appreciation for clients or any service-mindedness Bonjour cher client,Nous sommes vraiment désolés de vous faire attendre trop longtemps la dernière fois, nous avons pas fait exprès du tout. Je sais que vous étiez servi toujours très rapidement d'habitude, car le jour on avait eu vraiment beaucoup de travail, en plus trop de commandes avec des sushis, et puis trop de stress.Vous avez vu qu'on manque de pesonnel, à votre écoute nous sommes en train de chercher des nouveaux personnels pour améliorer notre qualité de service.Désolé encore une fois.Gérant CHEN

It may sound strange with the mix of french, italian and sushi - but it works. With the advantage that everyone can find something they like. Went for lunch and decided to go for the pave de thon, my absolute favourit. It can be a gamble because as good as it is when it is cooked perfectly, it is terrible if you cook it too much. I forgot to point out that I wanted it to be cooked rare. Fortunately it was served just as it shoud, very goog and tasty. In all a very nice lunch out on the terrace. As close as it is to the city it still feels like you are in the middle of the woods. Very reasonable prices and top quality.Dear Mrs, Mr,Thank you for this beautiful comment.
