Reviews on Asian food in Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia. Byron Bay's beaches are dotted with lighthouses and surrounded by bottlenose dolphins, rays, whales and sea turtles. This former New South Wales whaling station turned tourist town is still strongly influenced by its recent bohemian past, when hippie lifestyles flourished. Bongos and didgeridoos sound in parks, sarongs and dreadlocks are common, and vegetarian restaurants abound. Give in to the casual vibe and stroll between beaches and bars for a low-key and happy day.

This is a super find in Bangalow. Great Asian grocery and gift store and yum cha. Cute little seats on the deck with complimentary Chinese tea which is delicious. We chose a selection of steam buns and dim sum, both savoury and sweet. Super spot.

We ordered takeaway and chose two curries and a stir-fry. I love Massaman Curry - but have never had one with the flavour of burnt wood before! It was close to inedible. The red duck curry was okay and stir-fry was good but it did not impress...

A group of us dined at Bang Bang for my husbandâs birthday - what a great way to celebrate. We had the $75 per head banquet and the amount of food we received was fantastic - the kingfish sashimi, sticky pork belly and their fried rice were favourites at the table. Cocktails were fantastic and service friendly. We will definitely give this one another visit when in Byron next

Light Years Byron Bay brings you a fresh take on contemporary Asian food, served on a lush tropical patio. Enjoy amazing cocktails and shared dishes with groups, friends and family.
Great little restaurant with a big vibe. Authentic Vietnamese food cooked to perfection. Menu is designed for sharing. Worth mentioning are the won tons, pork belly bao buns, duck pancakes & Asian greens. You simply canât go past the pannacotta for dessert. They have a good cocktail menu & the staff are really friendly. Highly recommend dining here but definitely need to make a booking because itâs very popular.

Fresh Asian street food served in a hip art haven by day, and a playful den by night.
Up in the main shopping area car parking this fun cafe has plenty to offer. Relaxed and comfortable, the food is genuine Vietnamese with fresh, spicy and herby foods. Lots of chilli, lime, coriander and fish sauce, yum. The menu has lots of, to go, rolls and wraps and a good selection of sit down salads, fish cakes and street food. Great flavours, reasonable prices and young happy servers. Hmmm might go again tomorrow. Delish

Service good except the waitress might be new we had to repeat our order every time. Sushi is really just average comparing to sydney. Need more varieties. We told the guy at the cashier we were going to the cinema straight away and then we found out the ticket only cost $10 if you buy over the counter in the cinema...could have been more informativeHello 270dianam,We wish to begin by thanking you for taking the time and effort to leave OSushi Byron Bay a review. We value our customers immensely and the feedback in which they provide helps us improve and excel as a restaurant. We were extremely sad to read your review, we pride ourselves on sourcing quality fresh ingredients and use local, organic and free range produce where ever possible.
