What a surprise this place was. Absolutely incredible! The food was amazing. Little oil and full of flavour with just the right amount of heat. A good range of indian cuisine and they let you bring your own booze which I always think is lovely. We got the

Always enjoy a night in Gulshanâs with friends and family - always have the same but thereâs quite a lot of choice. Sanjay and Rasheed are always helpful and engaging and there always seems to be a buzz about the place on a weekend. Excellent value for food quality.

Nok's dishes up a menu of authentic and beautifully presented Thai food in the romantic atmosphere of a 17th-century town house, heart of Stockbridge.
Absolutely delicious - fresh light and extremely tasty. 5 of us shared 3 sharing platters which included chicken satay, fish cakes, tempura prawns, wontons (sorry the only way I can describe them and I didnât get the proper description) and a spicy beef stir-fry in a filo basket. Mains were prawn and pineapple curry (served in the pineapple), prawn and cashew stir fry, nutty chicken curry, sea bass curry and prawn green curry. All absolutely delicious and distinct flavours. 4 would have been enough for the five of us. 2 jasmine rice and a coconut rice. Two types of Thai beer on the menu - we opted for Chang which went very nicely with the food; along with 2 large glasses of Pinot Grigio and a bottle of SA Merlot. All in £178 for five of us but given the friendly efficient service and quality of the food felt very acceptable. Would go again.

There is hardly anything Indian about this restaurant. In a typical "Indian" restaurant, everyone orders a few curries and they share. In this restaurant, not only are the prices double but they demand everyone orders one curry each. That is not the Indian culture and I've never seen this policy in any Indian restaurant. You can judge the quality of the Indian food and restaurant by seeing how many Indians are inside. There were none in this one. We appreciate the time it took to leave us a review, we are sorry to hear this was your experience and we will take your comments on board, thank you.

Lovely authentic curry house in Leith. Recommended to us so give it a go. Best curry we've both had in a long time. Staff friendly and professional, great service. We had starters of kebabs, then I had a chicken Bhuna and my husband a chicken Jalfrezi. Both were excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We arrived tonight just before the downpour of torrential rain, on our way home to Kent. Although the restaurant was fully booked the manager managed to fix us a table as long as we could eat in 45 mins. It was a little rushed and as my husband didnt manage to eat his main they gave him a curry and rice home with him. The food as always was amazing and the staff were very pleasant. Look forward to retuning next time were in Fife although i hope our car isnt in 2ft of water next time

I have to say the food was decent , couple ok meals samosas overcooked, main meals ok, but the service was dismal at best , forgot drinks , then added extra on bill, no answer to not bringing drinks, total disinterest from staff and owners , even down to when paying, left machine with me as he went to talk to obv, previous customers, I had said meal ok but service etc, poor , he just laughed, I entered and printed receipt and he was still talking away to others, absolutely disgusting customer service, there are other indian restaurants that deserve the money, wont be back and will be happy to tell all of my poor experience.

Visited early evening for the first time. Really helpful staff, clean lovely surroundings and the food was freshly cooked to order. I'm not a huge sushi fan, but there were plenty of hot options to choose from. We ordered a soup, three starters and a ramen bowl to share. They asked if we wanted to have the ramen bowl in two smaller bowls which was a nice touch. The food was excellent, really tasty and full of flavour. If you're not sure about it, give it a go you will not be disappointed.
