One of the best Japanese restaurants I've been to in Burbank. I recommend the cucumber roles. Those are my favorite with green mustard. If you are a seafood lovie, check this place out. Though the area is small, you might have to wait.

Not expecting too much from this unassuming place across from the Safari Inn, my family ducked in for dinner. We were hungry and hoping for a decent meal and were delighted that it was a very good meal! Staff was friendly and efficient. Don't hesitate to try this place if you're in the area.

We ended up eating here today (Thanksgiving) because the restaurant I called 3 weeks ago (that was supposed to be open) was closed... So we walked around and this is what we found open. What a pleasant surprise.....We ordered:Crispy Duck - Perfect inside & out. Crisp outside, tender & moist insideAssorted Chow Fun - Excellent flavor, a lot of meat & shrimpSteamed Shrimp & Chicken w/ Vegetables - wow that was a new one, and it was good. Again plentiful shrimp & chicken, vegetables perfect & crispMargaritas on the Rocks - WonderfulThis was my first time eating here and I hope to be able to eat there again.

Small but very friendly and helpful. Ensured gluten free meal was kept away from other meals. The meal was from the A La Carte menu - Ginger (minus bell peppers) with chicken. Cooked superbly and the ginger was great. Loved the meal with brown rice. Other members of the party had Chow Mein and mixed vegetables which were equally as enjoyable. Great atmosphere and such great staff - smiles and nothing was too difficult. Another place to visit again and again.

For all kinds of sushi, sashimi, teriyaki and a hip, sophisticated setting, this is a great spot in Burbank. Everything was freshly made, beautifully presented. The menu is just pages and pages with even a kiddie bentobox menu. Octopus has a full bar that is very attractive and our favorites were "cardiac" sushi, scallops sushi, philadelphia, shrimp tempura, spicy tuna. This is a full restaurant and not a lunch bar with a sushi plate moving belt. Wonderful, pretty quick at lunch, and sumptuous surroundings.

I stopped in for dinner early one evening. It was lovely to sit out on their patio. They have a fire pit and warmers if it gets chilly. My waiter was very nice and attentive. I had the Tonkatsu Black Ramen. It was very tasty, with lots of good flavor. There was a LOT of noodles in the bowl. I would have liked maybe a bit more veggies to balance it out. Still, it hit the spot. I was very satisfied with my dinner.

Things didnât start out great! The front desk hostess didnât seem to have a clue about what she should be doing, disappearing and generally making us feel like we were an imposition for her. Things picked up when we were seated and we had a fantastic server, Lauren L, who was friendly, attentive and not intrusive. She brought us a very cold bottle of wine and a cooler without having to be asked. She wasnât pushy and was happy for us to order a couple of dishes at a time. The food, as always, was great. Hubby and I shared the pork pan fried dumplings, the pepper calamari and the Singapore noodles which we found to be more than enough for they two of us. Great menu options including sushi and California rolls if thatâs more your thing. Definitely give it a go. Wokcano is a chain but we always go to the one in Burbank.

I frequent Gindi quite often - mostly for the lunch specials. The food is always very fresh and tasty. They have an expansive menu, including sushi, and Gindi always has great service. Parking is a challenge as there are many restaurants and office buildings surrounding it.Gindi also has a nice happy hour offering. Dining tip - it tends to get loud during busy times, for a quieter spot, ask to be seated to the left hand side of the restaurant. It's a bit removed and cozier.
