Also known as Brunswick, Braunschweig is, at about 250,000 people, the largest city between Hannover and Berlin. Many of Braunschweig's most historic buildings surround the city center Burgplatz (Castle Square), including the 12th-century Braunschweiger Dom (Brunswick Cathedral), burial place of the famed Henry the Lion, powerful early Duke of Saxony. Henry's rebuilt castle, Burg Dankwarderode, is also on the Burgplatz and is now a museum. The Old City Market is another popular visitor spot.

The place is spartan, only a few tables, but it's absolutely worth a try, this is the best Sushi you can find in town. They also offer take-away service, if you prefer.

We had an Indian guest at work and he recommend this restaurant. I´ve been here three times and have been very pleased each time.Portions are large, so the menus tend to be a bit too much food. But it is all so tasty!!!More authentic / less "Germanised" than Ghandi.

Were at their place on 25/03/2017 in the evening.Entrees were good, but main courses were not what was mentioned on their menu list: it was supposed to be dishes served with rice noodles. In reality the noodles were only basic traditional European noodles. After our dinner, when we informed the server,he brought a small plate with real uncooked rice noodles, having a total different aspect (color and surely taste) of the ones served to us! Moreover,Mastercard and Visa credit cards not accepted. On top of that,no VAT recipe was delivered. My guess is because we are only visitors from abroad and not local residents....

Being of Japanese ancestry, I often take a dim view of Japanese restaurants that have a lot of Korean or Chinese influence and take liberties with authenticity. Hanayuki, however, is superb by any measure and is easily my favorite Japanese restaurant in the Tri-Cities after Matoi Sushi. Having just opened, it is of course impeccably clean, and everything about the presentation: décor, flatware, food presentation, etc., is equally top-notch. None of this would matter if the food wasn't good, but it is really really good. The sushi rice is exceptionally well done, the fish is fresh and clean, and everything else we've tried has been excellent. Highly recommend this place!
