Without doubt this is the best Indian Restaurant that we have ever visited and we have been to some amazing ones in the past. This is one step up though. Incredible flavours and beautifully presented. Attentive and polite staff. We were in the area for 2 nights and visited Spice the 1st night that we were there. The second night we headed straight back. If youâre looking for somewhere to eat then do yourself a favour and go here. Dear ChrisandPaulaP,Sincere thanks for your detailed review on TripAdvisor, and we are delighted to hear that you have thoroughly enjoyed our cuisine and service..We look forward to welcome you again wherever you get a chance to come down to Blessington again..Spice Village Team, Blessington

I havenât sat in the restaurant so can only comment on the takeaway service. The meals are of a very good quality, hot and tasty. Their standard reply when requesting a delivery seems to be 45 minutes to an hour waiting time but it usually arrives in less than 30 minutes. Itâs a little expensive, for the exact same order in an other Chinese takeaway in the village it costs â¬24, in the Lemon Tree itâs â¬32.

Not what we expected based on awards and reviews. All of the food was bland and uninspiring. At best the standard was second rate "bar food". Overall very very let down particularly as we were entertaining guests. Staff were pleasant but the chef who was responsible for preparing our food should be retrained. Prices were at least 25% too high for what was offered. Will not return.

Invited some friends to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. Haven eaten here before for another special occasion we hoped that it would be of an equally high standard and we were not let down. All guests were highly impressed with the flavours, presentation and the atmosphere. Maybe a little pricey but well worth it.
