I want to commend them not only for the fine quality of their food overall, but particularly their detailed attention to the food allergies my kids have. They advised carefully on what was in each dish. And then when they brought them out, they also made sure we knew which ones were safe for the allergy sufferers and which ones weren't. They were kind and thoughtful about the whole process, and made dining out a rare joy for our family.And for those of us without food allergies, the food was great too!!

We just had our second dining experience here on Saturday night. On a whim, without a booking and we were able to get in. Fabulous food and service yet again. This time around we had the smaller sharing plates. In particular the kingfish cevice was delicious and the calamari was melt in your mouth. We were not disappointed at all!

Late October, dinner for two at Chilli 'n' Chive Beaconsfield, bad decision.It was around 6.45 PM and the restaurant only had one table with customers and on entry we were told to sit where we liked. Drink order taken promptly, but quite a while before for our food order, entrée and main was taken. A couple of other tables had now been taken and one received their entrée promptly whilst we sat staring at our drinks. Entrée finally came and was hot and tasty, things were heading up we thought.Mains to other tables were brought out, but we sat hungry. We were thinking of paying for the entrée and leaving, but mains finally turned up. Cool, unappetising and quite frankly well below standard.We basically ate what we could, left the rest, paid an excessive amount for very little, and went home to eat.A notice close to the register asks customers to let the staff know if they at not satisfied with the restaurant, I just didnt have the time to go into such a converstaion.It was noticable the restaurant has a steady take away business, perhaps this is at the detriment of eat in customers.First and last time for us at this Restaurant.

Beautiful food, lovely engaging staff what more can you ask for right on your doorstep. Loved it so much we returned with another group of friends a couple of weeks later and were not disappointed.

Great going to the Food Star chain of restaurants- with a family of 4 when one wants spaghetti Bolognaise and the other 3 do not, at Foodstar you have Italian/seafood/curries/thai/Japanese/vegetarian/Mexican all on offer. Oh don't forget the roast pork/beef/pizzas/an array of salads and the kids love the dessert bar.

I work in the local area, so we are always trying to find places to get our lunch. i ordered 6 different dishes and there was not one complaint for anyone about there meal. There is new owner at this place. The food is priced very well. For a lunch pack it is only $6.50.

After a disastrous attempt to dine at another local Chinese restaurantwe rang quite late,but were able to get a table for 6 on a Saturday night . We arrived very "hangry" and were delighted to get some prawn crackers as soon as we were seated. We selected a banquet and the dishes quickly started arriving... lovely chicken and sweet corn soup, a beautiful crispy prawn spring roll, very tasty lettuce delight and then the mains. A great combination birdsnest, a very tender beef dish and the highlight a delicious spicy crispy chicken. Top this off with desserts,Chinese tea and a fortune cookie.Six very happy and full customers who have found a new favourite local Chinese restaurant.

Eat in ot take away,,, Not Fancy not the best place to go to for a meal... But if your on the Run its a excellent .. great food and plenty of it!!! and Cheap! i go there all the time... Cheers winston.

Our family loves the food at this restaurant!! Gorgeous authentic flavours and lots of choices on the menu. We've dined in and ordered takeaway and we're always impressed by the beautiful fresh quality of the food & the price.. The cocktails are absolutely divine and I recommend the Thom yum cocktail..

We enjoyed our order of Thai Red Curry, Massaman Curry and Chilli & Basil Stir-fry, though there didnât seem much of a taste difference between the Red and Massaman curries â still both flavourful and delicious regardless.
