Ordered 5 dishes. The chicken with cashew nuts came without the cashew nuts. The chicken curry had no heat. The worst problem was the gluten free dish. They sent a different meal. When I rang to ask where the correct meal was they first of all denied taking the order. They then admitted to taking it but the chef no longer cooked gluten free so they just sent another dish. This meant one of our friends had no dinner. The only reason we were ordering from Jade House was that they have previously cooked gluten free dishes for us. Due to the substandard meal and attitude of the staff I will not be back here.
Has Always been our first choice for Chinese food in Ballymena. Vegetable Spring rolls are delicious and nearly a meal in themselves. Sauce disappointing. My daughter ordered honey chilli beef and there was so much chilli in it she was unable to eat it. Now has been sick for 4 days. Service was terrible. Takeaway was extremely busy with delivery times 1.5 hours. Not an enjoyable experience unfortunately and quite expensive. Would not be rushing back. Has lost the restaurant experience and heating poor. Family ate with their coats on and we were glad to get back to the car to get warmed. Will not be returning. Need to prioritise customers who are paying restaurant prices!

We are regulars at The Khayber Indian Restaurant in Galgorm. We have taken many friends there, all have been very complimentary about the food. The menu is wide and varied, with plenty of options, with a good choice of vegetarian meals to choose from. There is a non Indian option, but we have not tried this. However appreciate some groups may have people who are not curry lovers.Starter are always good and consistently hit the mark, try the Chicken Tikka or Onion Bhajee, many more options also. We tend to go for Lamb or Chicken meals but they do a Monkfish special which I am informed by my friends is fabulous. You will get a consistently great meal here, but that is just part of what The Khayber is good at, they have a really friendly service and will try to meet all your requests. Mehrez (Maurice) is the Manager and he will help you decide, if your unsure. Other waiters who we have come to rely on and have given us great service are Raj and Patrick. The owner Iqbal is very pleasant and keen to ensure that everyone has a great time. If you don't and I appreciate this is our review, just let them know as they are happy to help.Good value and good quality ingredients make for a fine dining experience

est.1966, said to be the oldest Chinese restaurant in Northern Ireland, situated next to "The Braid" Art Center, offer pre theater menu and a full bar. A modern style, comfortable and inviting establishment.
This is the longest established Chineese Resturant in Ballymena. The food remains good as is the service. Maybe the interior would benefit from a little enhancement although would make no changes to the quality on offer.. Its nice to speak with a Chineese girl with a local dialect

We had been over to Northern Ireland for a wedding and needed to find somewhere to eat on the Sunday night. We had a recommendation by one of our family members for this restaurant in Ballymena and it didn't disappoint. All freshly cooked and wonderful flavours, the staff were friendly and welcoming and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this great restaurant.
