Since 1922, it has been a spa town and located on the western shore of the Tegernsee Lake. It had a population of around 4800 inhabitants in 2014. The word "Bad" means "spa" or "baths", while "Wiessee" derives from "Westsee", meaning "western part of the lake". Bad Wiessee was first documented in 1017 in the tax book of the Tegernsee Abbey, encouraged to pay goods to the abbey.

To be very honest, the food was really really good, however the atmosphere of neon signs on the entrance was all but it. But as I am rating the food quality, rather then the "ambiente" five stars are still given. We had different plates, and all flavours were great. The duck with Thai curry was outstanding and the main reason for the 5 stars. We will visit Mr Vu again, and maybe tell them that by adjusting their interior they could even get more guests ;)

Enjoyed such a nice evening here with great starters, definitely No Name is a recommendation. The main courses are colorful and tasty. The service, ambience outside was great. We were a total of 5 people who had visited.We ordered the 2-1 dishes which included Curry Chicken, Chicken Schezwan, Fish with vegetables and Crispy duck. The taste was good and was prepared with the German thought in mind. But there were typical sauces available which helped us to give them the Asian taste. We also ordered the Nasi Goreng and the preparation here was truly Asian.The Beer they served was also very good and a special mention for the Dunkel Radler.On the recommendation list!!

We spent a night at the Bachmair Hotel and visited the MIZU for dinner. Oh my god! You would never ever expect such amazing food and sushi at the Tegernsee in Bavaria. Don´t get me wrong, there are a lot of really good restaurants and hotels in that are, but that style is totally different. The hotel itself is great and this restaurant is a jackpot. We were absolutely amazed by the creations and the combinations. It was a warm evening and we were seated outdoor. We had tasty wine and after the dinner we had some more drinks at the well-equiped hotel bar. Dining at a hotel restaurant? Usually a bit tricky? Dining at MIZU? The perfect clash of Bavarian lifestyle and japanese flavours.
