My wife, daughters, son-in-law and I went to the Crownery last night to celebrate my wife's birthday. The Crownery has always been one of her favorite restaurants in the area. And last night did not disappoint! We ordered way too many meals for the center of the table but with the reasonable pricing this isn't an issue since there are leftovers are always good the next day! Friendly, attentive staff along with reasonable pricing and an easy to find location make this a terrific choice for the best Chinese food in New Castle County.

The restaurant is sparsely decorated, which is fine, but any noise is amplified. My wife flat out refuses to eat there. Food is good verging on very good but the service is inept and the kitchen is sloooooow. I ordered takeout on a not very busy day and didn't get it until an hour and 20 minutes later. If it wasn't for the food I'd give this restaurant only one star.

Our great friends and neighbors next door also love Okura as much as my wife and I. This is our go-to sushi place for a 50 mile radius!! Wonderful people on this place and work there and the fish is always fresh and wonderful. They are quite innovative with their rolls while I'm more of a Sashimi guy, in fact this is the only place around where I can count on fresh Uni being on the menu on weekends. And if you're into the hot dishes they also have quite an extensive menu for those in your group that don't dig sushi. Try it ..... you won't be disappointed!

This is the best Chinese takeout I've had since I was a kid. I usually go with the staple favorite of chicken and broccoli, but other members of my family get lo mein, shrimp with garlic sauce, house fried rice, and everything is delicious. It's always busy when we got to pick it up, so you know it's a hit!Although they provide some seating, don't plan to eat there. Usually the owner's kids are sitting at the only table provided, or there are so many people waiting that you can hardly have a conversation with the person next to you. Definitely pick up and eat at home - wonderful!

On the surface, they are a byob place sans ostentation. What they really are under the hood is a great place to eat with excellent service and a laid-back genteel ambience that attracts a clientele that appreciates such things. Reservations are a must, because the place is crowded until around 8:30 pm. The sushi is excellent. Add to that the orange chicken, at a level of taste above what you would find anywhere else. Prices are reasonable and parking is a breeze. A fine place to revisit!

My husband and I drove by this restauarant several times since we moved to the area. We were surprised to see all the positive reviews on Tripadvisor so we gave it a try. The sushi was excellent. We did find the menu to be a bit confusing but our waiter helped us with some recommendations. The atmosphere was relaxing but the service was average. Our waiter never returned after taking our order. We would definately try it again.
