After reading negative reviews about the management especially once you dine, you can't take the food-to-go, we decided to pay-to-go from the beginning to create no hassle. It was surprising how everything is by scoop or scoops. One bowl to put all the ingredients inOne salad bowl per personOne scoop of riceTwo scoops of ice creamAbove are for dine-in customersOne bowl to put all the ingredients inOne scoop of riceAbove are for to-go customersPay $7.99 per lbFour cooks including a lady directing other three cooks what to do. It seemed they were trying to figure out cooking order. Overall experience, food was definitely great! Management seemed cheap as scoops signs are all over the place; however, who cares about the management or the service, as long as food is great, I'll return.
Rice Bar is a chain of Korean bib bim bap places around the DC area. It is kind of a Cava, Korean-style where you choice your rice, toppings and protein. While it is a good concept, it seemed to be missing something. All ingredients were fresh and flavorful, but not quite to my liking. I have been to many Korean places in the region and lived in Korea for years, but this place seemed a little off. I ordered the bulgogi since that is usually a good judge of the rest of the menu. There's was a little sweet; almost beef short rib-like; not soy and sesame as I expected. Still okay though; just not what I expected. Ironically, the place nearby, Grean Leaf Deli, had AWESOME bulgogi.

Delicious fresh and authentic Thai food. We used to be known as Maephim Lakewood Thai, but changed it to reduce confusion. Nothing else has changed.
Usually get the combo plates as that way I get a little bit of everything. Food has always been tasty and you can up the heat as much as you want. Pricing is fair, food is better.

Previous rating remarks leave out sufficient detail and just stating to "love this place"is not helpful.....So here are some details.Almost all of the items prepared are Japanese or Japanese-Fusion.Some American carbonated drinks and a few American deserts.New and seniors to this restaurant, but not new to Sushi or Shashimi. The "belt" delivery system is not a new idea but appears new to this area.....No handicap/disability parkingout front that is not taken by other store customers in this complex----The shopping mall management has not upgraded disability parking since opening in spite of the increase in disability permitted drivers. Easy access inside. ADA compliant. Counter seating with a double belt running which delivers mostly covered Sushi, Sashimi, salads, deserts, and rolls in clusters of four per plate. Many items are commonly found in Asian restaurants that serve Japanese style. However, there is also a house menu (ask for one) with kitchen prepared items to also be considered and that will include Katsu, Udon, Yakisoba, and Teriyaki items. There is also an appetizer section including Miso soup, Egg Roll, Spring Roll, Calamari, Edamame, and others. Save room for desert and there is a section on the menu for Watermelon, Mochi, Orange, Pineaple and various bakery items.Saki, Beer, and wine are also available as well as teas (some are bottled). The ambiance is cheery and bright. There are some private dining booths and/or tables also available off to one side. Doesn't seem a good place for large groups, but meet-ups, blind dates, families, would feel comfortable there. Not a good place to have a business meeting.... Only one lady waited upon, seated, served, and took orders for the diners...even when busy she was able to keep up...So, after first experience, we will go back and try some of the menu items also.

I had the grilled pork and egg roll vermicelli, Mike had the same but as a rice plate. There were so few ingredients in my noodle bowl salad that I was relying on the dressing to carry the day. I tasted it and was startled to discover it was a bland, watery liquid. Some fish sauce maybe? but no vinegar or anything at all flavorful. I added soy and pickled chili, which helped. That left me sriracha and hoisin, out of desperation I added sriracha and it was as good as I could make it. As I was trying to make the best of it, the waiter (wearing a Seahawks jersey) took away the soy sauce. When we paid and were asked if it was great, we gently told her it was "less flavorful than we are used to" -- and she expressed disbelief and asked if we had used the sauce! I guess bland is good in the Arlington area. All in all, I'd say this place is aptly named.

Delicious quality but only two people working there. Place hasn't been "cleaned" in years. Look up. The Mexican and spicy scallop rolls were delicious, and the salmon skin hand rolls were some of the best. But we spent over $60 and now I am writing this review a couple hours later at another place having another course and a drink.

A strange combination, pizza and Chinese food! I have only had the Chinese food, the portions are large but the food is only so so. The staff is always friendly.
This is your standard Teriyaki place, but the only one I keep on speed dial. Not a great place to eat in, but quick takeout with friendly service. Call them on the road and your order will be ready in 5-6 minutes!

we were staying at the new Best Western in Arlington and noticed this restaurant across the parking lot in a small strip mall. My wife loves Chinese food so we decided to give it a try. When you walk in the door it doesn't look like much but we desired to get a take out and try it anyway. The menu had a nice assortment of dishes to include both pork & beef ribs. The lady that waited on us was very friendly and helpful. We tried the pork ribs and a chicken dish. The food was served very quickly and the portions were large. The prices were very fair. We took the food back to our room and were happily surprised at how good everything was. We had to leave the following morning but have added Teriyaki Point as a favorite in the Arlington area.

Get off the frontage roads and explore historic downtown Arlington. Found this surprisingly good Thai restaurant hidden behind FULL size window sun-film advertisements like you'd see on Metro bus windows.I ordered the red curry chicken with eggplant over rice and my daughter got the wide noodles (Pad See ew) with chicken. Mine was 4 of 5 stars and it came appropriately hot. All the veggies (purple egg plant, carrots, peppers and basil) were all very fresh. THe chicken was sliced thin and not overcooked. Red curry was very good. Service was friendly and fairly fast. My daughter enjoyed hers too and cleaned her plate.Looked like mostly locals eating there so new customers are very welcome!!
