Good would probably be a better rating, but that isn't available. The last time we were at this restaurant was some years ago and it has closed and reopened since then. The decor was much improved, though the water feature was somewhat loud and sounded as if we were sitting next to a mountain stream, which vied with the rather tinny background music for attention. The service was attentive without being intrusive. The large selection of dishes on the menu filled us with trepidation, as we couldn't imagine that all those dishes could be freshly cooked. In the event, four of us chose from the set menus, (which included a vegetarian one.) These were French in style, i.e. A choice of starter, a main with rice or noodles and a desert from the â¬14.90 and 18.90 menus. The other two chose from the a la carte menu. Those of us who had chosen from the set menus rated our meals as very good, the others were not as impressed and felt that their meals had been mediocre. They were particularly unhappy with the "caramelised bananas" as they were expecting "banana fritters" rather than what amounted to "toffee bananas" without the stick. The whole meal including 2 bottles of wine and beers came to â¬31 each. I would certainly go again, though not so sure that 2 of my companions would.

An excellent address. Good restaurant with good food, excellent service and a wonderful ambiance. Lunch on the terrace on a hot June day was a real bonus. Worth another visit.

My wife and I had dinner here tonight with some local friends following the recommendation of another local friend. We had the buffet dinner and the food was plentiful and delicious with fresh portions being replenished regularly. Food was labeled so you knew what it was. We especially liked the pork and chicken Nem.
