Definetly book first, they spent the evening turning people away! Nice short, clear and simple menu, very tasty, well seasoned and prepared food, crispy chicken is awesome. The service was great, efficent and good humoured. Not ideal for vegatariens.

In the pedestrian precinct, small and a bit tucked away. But the service is friendly and the sushi was fresh, well presented and good quality. I was only passing through Angers but I would certainly go again.

I love Japanese food and this place was up to my expectations... and they even gave me a surprise with the gyoza: it was better than the chicken teriyaki! Take it from someone who absolutely loves the teriyaki... If you want to eat good (like, really good) and get out of the traditional bistro routine, this is your place to go... You won't be disappointed

Monday in French retail is a day of closure and this applies to restaurants too. Even those that do open generally do so from 7pm onwards in Angers. We found ourselves wandering around looking for somewhere out of the tourist square and without photos of the food on display (a little rule I dine by..). L'Inde has two parts, the bar and what appears to be a roofed courtyard next door. The latter is well heated so very comfortable to dine in. We were welcomed in at 7pm despite a look of concern that we hadn't got a reservation and I can understand that as the place rapidly filled up behind us. Our waiter easily identified that our French was rubbish and advised his English was to a similar standard, so asked us to wait for another waiter who overcame the language barrier. This transpired to be very wise, as although pointing to the item we wanted would have obtained a meal, the advice we were given proved invaluable. The menu is a fusion of Indian and Thai and it was explained that the dishes have been tailored over time to be quite mild as the French palette does not appreciate a curry that blows your head off. With our new waiters advice we could tailor our choices to be more in line with what we'd expect.Delivered rapidly, they all proved delicious. The portions are not massive (though not inadequate) so there is room for an entree or sweet. When popping a tip in the tray at the bar the maitre'd rang a bell and all the waiters stopped and thanked me, a nice touch and also a clever ruse to hint to other diners that a tip is appreciated.Tip: Waiter service but you pay at the bar.

Came with my wife for a family visit to Angers. She vegan, I'm half vegetarian (I eat fish) so we looked for a suitable place and voila! we found Dazuma. It wasn't just the food, it was the atmosphere and the whole experience.Hi, thanks a lot for your comment. You're welcome anytime you comeback to angers!!!

For of us we were travelling to Loire Valley and found that place just from here. We all are experienced sushi eaters. Well, it is definitely not top 20 sushi in my life.nothing particular I can say. But you won't find them SOOO nice. No wonder...you are in the middle of FranceWell thank you for visiting us and leaving us your opinion. (Doing so in person would have been also appreciated by the way!)As a sushi chef, I'm well-aware of my skills and hope that i'm not in your "top 20", that would mean you've missed out on a lot of good sushi! I'm just trying to do my best, and please customers as well as I can. The fact you didn't really like our restaurant is one thing, but please, do not lower our capabilities based on our location. We're only an hour and a half away from the sea where you have some of the best quality fish I've had the pleasure of working with (compared to California, Iceland, Spain, Italy, etc..). Well anyways... i'll just keep on trying to improve.. in this beautiful area in the middle of France!

Colorful canteen offering authentic Thai street food cuisine. Takeaway available.
After reading about this restaurant, we went expecting a lot, we left very satisfied and with serious intentions to comeback... In terms of space, is a kind of small and the tables are shared with other costumers, but that adds a little charm and contributes to the friendly atmosphere...

This little Japanese-French restaurant (max 14 people) serves heavenly, fresh food - seated around the open kitchen while watching the chef build a masterpiece of savory dishes using dance-like mouvements..one can see the passion & love he has for his work - excellent fine cuisine - different tastes present in the variety of dishes proposed - combination of smoked foie gras with gravlax salmon and mushrooms// spinach, asparagus & shrimp bisque // tender angus beef pumpkin potato & morel sauce // crispy melted chocolate crunch as dessertâ- accompanied by very tasty red wineThe great thing about this concept: strangers present naturally start talking to each other as the dinner continues - international spirit - countries represented around our table that evening (counting chef Kazumi): Japan, Russia, Italy, France, Belgium â- and we all had an excellent evening and a good laugh Thanks!
