We have eaten here many times and have always had friendly and efficient service and good food. It is quiet and quaint for a relaxing lunch or dinner.

The Hungry Detective and daughter enjoyed some sushi rolls(Steeler Pleaser, Angry Pirate, Sexy Mermaid and Psycho Mermaid). The Steeler Pleaser was exceptional and our server Abby did an outstanding job with five star service. I had a Painkiller that was ok and needs some refining. I will be back to try some traditional rolls!!!VERDICT: Guilty of serving up outside the box sushi rolls.

Four of us took in China Palace for dinner last week. It has always been a reliable source for Chinese and Japanese dishes. However, this time the dishes we ordered seemed to be less tasty than previously. The Japanese box which includes sushi and other sides was a disappointment. The sushi particularly didn't seem quite as fresh as is preferable.

Don't let the exterior appearance fool you. I was in Coraopolis on a business trip and was looking for a Chinese restaurant for dinner. This one had high ratings on Tripadvisor and now I know why!I drove to the restaurant and was honestly not impressed with the exterior appearance. That said, I was hungry so I approached the door and went inside, and was immediately impressed with the ambiance and the professionalism of the staff. I was promptly seated, offered drinks, and was treated with respect by a very attentive waiter. The wonton soup was am ample portion and very tasty, and my Kung Pao chicken was among the best I've ever had - and I've had it in many, many places. The veggies were fresh, the chicken tender, and the sauce was actually creamy and really hit the spot.A full dinner, including a glass of wine, for under $25.00. This is my new go-to Chinese restaurant whenever I'm in the area, for sure. Enjoy!
