We have been stopping in here semi regularly for dinner for a year or so. This is an unassuming space with lots of space and few patrons at night. We always get the teriyaki chicken. It is an enormous portion of tasty chicken. There is always an enormous dollop of white rice on the plate but we dont do white rice. The food is cooked to order so it takes a little while to come out. It is hot and fresh.Tip- call in your order about 15 minutes before arrival!Ask for a box for your left overs because there is an awful lot of food!

We have never been disappointed at this little Chinese restaurant tucked away in North Albany Village across the river from downtown Albany. The service is always friendly, fast and efficient. Our food has always arrived at the table hot and tasty. We especially like the orange chicken and the house chow mien. The prices are right too. The two of us eat for less than $20 for dinner. They serve lunch for $4.99 every day and all day Sunday. And... they have wifi.

Came here for the first time on Mothers Day. It was busy, but not packed. Service was very slow and the wrong drink was brought to me on more than one occasion. Food was typical American Chinese food. Smaller portions that I would have expected.ALl in all it was just fine, but I don't see us coming back.

This restaurant was clean and offered a wide variety of food items. Sushi was actually pretty good. They had a lot of meat dishes including crab, clams, mussels, and many chicken choices. I have to say save room for hard hand scooped ice cream in 5 flavors because that was my particular favorite item. I thought the food was served hot and the staff was very accommodating and helpful contrary to another review I saw. The senior discount was nice.

Summary: Avoid this establishment at all costs. Seriously, go hungry instead. It's that bad. I very rarely leave reviews because most places just aren't worth the trouble. A place has to be great or one of the worst ever for me to do so. Lum Yuen falls into the latter category, The only positive thing about my meal here was that the green tea was decent. Not hot, mind you, but decent tasting. I ordered the orange chicken with steamed rice. When the orange chicken was served in a pyrex casserole dish, maybe that should have been a warning. When the orange chicken had whole slices of orange in it, rather than just orange peel, maybe that should have been a warning. But, I forged ahead anyways and tried it. I'm not sure what the meat was that was deep fried, but it sure wasn't like chicken that I've seen or eaten anywhere else in the country. it tasted a lot like the boiled goat that I had when visiting Guadalupe 12 years ago. Steamed rice is supposed to be at least moderately white, right? This rice was gray. I ate one bite, drank 6 more cups of the tea, asked for my check and left. I did leave a reasonable tip because the one lady serving the 16 tables in the restaurant was working hard, and the quality of food wasn't her doing. But I will go hungry before considering this place again.

Shared the maguro Sashimi plate as an appetizer and the maguro (tuna) was just the right consistency and fresh. Husband had some exotic rolls and was happy. The tempura was perfect - fluffy with just enough coating.Daughter was happy with her tempura udon.The server was a little harried, although efficient. Service would be better if there was a bus boy or another waiter.Very unusual that a restaurant does both cooked food and sushi well but Ginza pulls it off. I didn't expect good Japanese food in a non descript strip mall in Albany!And prices were very fair - excellent value. I would definitely come back here again.

Face it: in the end, would you rather have a great bowl of pho and mediocre service, or the opposite?That's the conundrum you'll face at Sam City Fusion. Being somewhat picky about our pho, we weren't expecting much when we dodged into Sam's late one hazy summer's evening. Only a couple of other customers were there. The two servers greeted us (we think) and waved us to a table. Menus were tossed our way. We ordered the Beef Tendon Pho and the vegetarian Pho, the vermicelli noodles with pork and the fresh rolls. A tall, cool Vietnamese ice coffee rounded out our order. Bye and bye, the food came our way. The fresh rolls were sweet, cool and refreshing, with just a bit of chewiness to the wrapper. The giant bowls (and we ordered the small) steamed enticingly. A little squeeze of lemon, some sprouts and, feeling daring, a bit of brown sauce-- Pho-heaven!The vermicelli bowl was nice and cold, with the chewy, caramalized pork a nice counterpoint.The coffee arrived already made (a little disappointing, we love to brew it at our table if we can)In the end, we left, satisfied and full. Who was our waiter? Who knows! Who cares!

I like Momiji for its hours, as it stays open from morning until evening close instead of shutting down for three hours in the afternoon. Their sushi isn't bad, especially on Mondays when they have specials on rolls. Service is somewhat spotty and slowish and there seems to be staff turnover which, while not uncommon in food service, causes the trainee staff to know little or nothing about the menu and I'm not sure what motivates them. Location is meh, on the edge of a strip mall parking lot. Good free parking most days and times.

Found this Thai treasure near my hotel. The parking lot was so full I nearly left. Most were take out orders so space opened quickly. I was so pleasantly surprised with the best fresh spring roll and red curry, both made to perfection. Delicious. Service was awesome with all young women. Pitcher of water at the table was welcomed. So outstanding, I took a box of spring rolls for the road tomorrow.
