Other restaurants should stop Thai-ing. This restaurant Thaiâs the knot. It leaves the competition tongue Thai-ed. This restaurant is so en-Thai-cing, it pulls you right in. To start off, I always order a Miso soup. The flavors are great, and it always helps to warm you up, like hot chocolate on a winter day. The servers are always friendly, making jokes, and really interacting with the customers. Next, I usually order Tom Kha and Yum soup. You can control how spicy this soup is on a scale of 1-5. Just say âI would like a (dish)as a (number). Fair warning: a two makes my nose run. If I donât order a Tom Yum:, then I usually order a Spicy tuna roll. The topping sauce is top-notch. Zen is a great place to go for a quick bite to eat, or a sit down dinner. It is one of the best Thai restaurants in St. Louis County.

Been meaning to get here for years, and finally did. It was a gorgeous spring day so I chose to eat outside. The menu wasn't huge, but there were plenty of choices and I ordered the chicken cordon bleu. The chicken was great, the crust around it fantastic. It was served with mashed potatoes and veggies which were tasty as well. Meal came with bread and I asked to take the leftovers home and they gave me what looked to be almost a full loaf of bread to take home which I did and enjoyed the next few days.

Everything about our first visit to the relatively new, Sushi Hana, on Gravois in Affton was super except for maybe the parking areas but do not let that stop you. Why Affton we don't know but they do know how to slice, dice and serve great Sushi at their quaint little place. Reasonable too! We really liked their Hana roll for $12, while a lot of their standard sushi place offerings such as a Spicy Salmon roll at $6 and Shrimp Tempura roll at $7.50 were great. Very nice and friendly staff too. Thanks. You're our new go to and we live about 13 miles away.

We had the tasting menu with the pairings, and weâre so glad we did. The wine selections were incredible with each course. The food was inventive with simple ingredients to start, but each course was more complex. The combinations of the flavors were fantastic and surprising. Every course was our absolute favorite....until the next course arrived. The tenderloin was so good, I'm still angry about it. I have seen it mentioned that the portions are small, and I don't disagree. This is not a "stuff yourself" restaurant. At the end of the meal we were more than satisfied with the amount of food without being overfull, and throughout the meal, we were never so full that we weren't anticipating the next course. The service was great. Our server, Taylor, was friendly, quick, and offered insights on the food, which we always appreciate. She was busy, but also always attentive, and still took the time to explain each dish. The space is small and charming. It is more expensive, so it's definitely an adult atmosphere, perfect for slowing down, taking your time, enjoying your company, and relishing in every bite as part of a special occasion out.
