secluded from the noise and dust of bole road, the place has a semi outdoor dining space that is well furnished. The food is very goood. The price is a bit expensive. but good for occasional dining. If you have a Sheba miles account, you will get reward miles for every 500 birr that you spend there.

A friend took us to Zaika the other night - FABULOUS food! We arrived shortly after 6 and by 7:15 every table was full. Our group of 3 ordered 3 different foods - all were excellent! Chicken tikka (a generous portion), lamb korma (incredibly soft lamb and very flavorful sauce), mixed vegetables (I ordered mild but it still had a nice little kick to it), steamed rice, butter-garlic naan. And, a lassy (regular) for desert. It was all excellent and I'm eager to go back and try other dishes. It's not a cheap place, but the food was really great, and our server was attentive - even though he was swamped.

If you like Korean food and want to taste something different, that is the place for you. We have been here a couple of times and enjoyed the diverse menu, tasty dishes and attentive service. Prices are reasonable. It is next to the Chinese Market. You can either dine in the open air garden or inside. Recommended.

Average Chinese takeout restaurant catered to non-Chinese people. Tries to be a bit fancier than it is in the decor. It's always quiet, service is good. Go if you want greasy Chinese fare. Hits the spot! But sometimes I get a bit of a tummy upset from the grease. Hot & sour soup is always good.

Sakura Japanese Restaurant is the only authentic Japanese restaurant in Ethiopia. Enjoy sushi, noodles, teriyaki and many other amazing dishes.
For the last night of my daughters and her pertners visit to Addis they wanted to take us out for dinner. I have eyed this restaurant on the deliver addis service for a while but wanted to eat at the restaurant, so this was our chosen place for the night. It went above our expectations(remembering that we were in Ethiopia). We started of with some gyoza and meat filled doughballs. Followed by ramen, and noodle dishes and some yakatori. We all shared a plate of california rolls. The outcome. For Addis the ramen was very good (we have had better in the states and Asia of course) the broth was flavourful, pork tender and egg a little overdone.. The noodles were tasty as was the spicy chicken egg rice dish. The sushi was good along with the wasabi and ginger. The ginger was a little thick on not well pickled, but for where we were it was good. There is a good choice of items on the menu, which we will go back to try. The price was reasonable and service friendly. As with most restaurants we add the proviso foe Addis/Ethiopia as it can be difficult to source ingredients.Would definitely go backnagainThank you very much for dining with us and writing a great review. So happy that you enjoyed our dishes. I really appreciate that you put things in perspectives.Yes we are in Ethiopia thus we can offer not all the things we would like to.... thank you very much for understanding. Your very mature view really gave me comfort today because one Korean person just rated us terribly saying that our menu is limited because it is hard to get ingredients here in Ethiopia....and I was quite offended... but then I read your review, and that made my day. ARIGATO GOZAIMASU!We sincerely look forward to welcoming you again soon!

The place does not meet expectations, especially if you have visited their website. The food is good, though. I guess if the owners invested in the facilities, incl. the washrooms, it would rank among the top indian restaurants in Addis. Until then, no repeat from me.

Four Seasons Restaurant is 7/years old, a good option for locals and expatriates wanting a different dining scene in Addis Ababa. The menu offers authentic Japanese & Thai cuisine, as one of the owner/partner is also the Chef, he is Pakistani, but trained
We love to come here for Thai stir fry with basil leaves. Also Miso soup is very nice, same I believe for Sushi. By Ethiopiam standards the best Asian/Thai food in the country, very friendly owner and very good value for money.

I was excited to order from this restaurant because it is fully vegetarian. However, the biryani was pretty tasteless, the only flavour sensation being an overpowering heat. Disappointing.

For a fresh take on Chinese cuisine, look no further than Sichuan Restaurant. Located on the 3rd floor of the ODA building, infront of Zemen Bank in Kasanchis which the restaurant offers splendid view of the flourishing city, as well as a cozy dining atmo
Arrived in the ODA building for dinner. Scary place. Donât go by yourself. The lobby is large and dark - no lights. You take an elevator up. For some reason it stopped on another floor which was pitch black and looked abandoned. Once we got to the restaurant it was much better. The waitress was friendly and professional. Some of the food was oily but the 6-7 dishes we ordered tasted good but not exceptional. Seasoning was conservative. More than half way through our dinner the vents in the kitchen werenât working well (maybe itâs always like this?) and a very spicy aroma filled the air that had us all coughing. Owner may wish to check the vents. We were there about one week ago. Dear our valued guest, thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience on tripadvisor! We are looking forward to welcome you back to another pleasant experience here at Sichuan restaurant Addis Ababa. Best regards, Nebiyu Ermias, Chef and manager at Sichuan
