Find out what Asian restaurants to try in Aalborg. If Aalborg were a house, the real estate agent would sell it as "loaded with potential." The 1,000-year-old city is Denmark’s fourth largest, and boasts a Viking past, over 300 restaurants, a casino, lively nightlife and great shopping. The zoo breeds rare Siberian Tigers, and the Waterland and Tivoliland make it a great place for families to visit. Aalborg isn’t a hotspot for foreigners, yet. But we’ll watch as the waterfront of this busy port continues to gentrify, with expectations it will be one in the future.

Nice Chinese buffet, variety of taste and choices. The foods, I would say, really good quality for buffet, well, fresh made and they always checked and filled up. The staffs are very friendly and the restaurant is clean. I think for this quality the price is reasonable. I and my family have had a good time there and we will definitely visit this restaurant again.

Met friends who just sailed into the harbour. Went for the excellent pulled duck and chips. Followed by icecream and Coffee. Icecream was great, specially the dark chockolate. Frozen chockolate icicles inside. Would have rated five but Deserten had no cones for icecream and the espresso machine was out of order. And yes bottle of wine costs only 150 DKK which ofsets the 80 DKK average price per dish. The portions are very generous.

For better or worse: It is my experience that Chinese buffet is Chinese buffet - no matter which country you are in, and sadly Sanya does not raise above the general level: Food is absolute eatable - and rather uninteresting! The most discerning sets the standard, and therefore the courses are a bit bland. On the other hand Sanya is situated in very modern and inviting rooms with good acoustic, even on a busy night we were able to talk with each other.Staff could be more attentive, we had to remind them once or twice about our order of drinks.Last but not least: Sanya is VERY affordable!

I remember when this takeaway opened almost 30 years ago. Most people expected this to be just another fastfood joint where you have something to eat quickly, but feel hungry again a couple of hours later. It quickly turned out that this Chinese family had something different to offer, and that is the secret of their huge success. Over the years they have established a wide customer base. Even people like me who live 25 miles away will still come here for an easy takeaway. What is the secret you may ask? It is quite simple: A very efficient kitchen which works hard and without mistakes, sweet girls and guys behind the counter (initially they were all daughters and son, but with the success they have had to employ Danish workers as well), and of course super tasty food at reasonable prices. They offer all the usual Chinese dishes as well as menus and Danish fastfood. In recent years they have established a seating area so you can eat on the premises.

Karma Sushi is a chain of sushi restaurants in Denmark with high quality fusion sushi. Karma Sushi is located in Copenhagen, Aarhus, Aalborg and Frederikshavn.
I visited Karma Sushi on a rainy Wednesday evening and it was most definitely worth braving the weather for. We ordered some edamame for starters. There was a wait between our starters and main course coming out, but we were given a complimentary dish to keep us going. That was a nice touch from the kitchen I felt. When the mains did arrive, they were so worth it. Photos donât do justice to how amazing the food looked. And it tasted even better - we went for the Roll Premium Selection and it was divine.Service was very friendly, though we did struggle to catch someoneâs eye at times when we wanted to order more drinks.I loved the decor - from the matching plates, cups and serving dishes, to the origami decorations hanging from the ceiling above us, it all made for a lovely atmosphere. My only slight criticism is the menu - not the items on it, but the actual physical menu! They give you iPads to read the menu from, instead of traditional paper/card menus. You donât order via the iPad or anything special. It seems quite pointless and a waste of resources, as youâre basically looking at a PDF of the menu on an iPad as opposed to a piece of paper. Hi D2271HHlouisefThank you taking the time to make this kind and thorough review of your evening at our restaurant. We are really happy to hear how thrilled you were over the sushi. Hopefully, you will come and visit us again soon.Have a nice day. Best regards.Frederik, Karma Sushi
