We tried the "bife de chorizo" with fries for each one. Wonderful! Simple and perfect cooked. Juicy! We came back three nights again! And the best part: the price! The lowest price at the "Quadrado". They have other choices but we didn't wanted try. Why change what was so perfect?

We have been to La Bodega twice now. The first visit we just passed through and thought we might give it a try because it was quite croudy with nice and interesting people up front. We had housemade starters, quiche and empanada and a filet mignon sandwich, which we enjoyed so much that we needed to try La Bodega again. The service was friendly and spoke english, which was a welcome variety in Trancoso. With the second visit we tried the pasta and it was delicious.It takes a couple of minutes longer but this is definitely worth the wait.The owner is although the chef and its quite impressive how he handles the orders with just one kitchen help. We are even thinking about visiting La Bodega for the third time, because the food quality is just much better than in any restaurant at the quadrado. The portion sizes are really big and you feel toally welcome. The Value that you get for your money(filet sandwich 28RS, Pasta 27RS) is unbeatable. We can absolutely recommend this nice and warm place in the heart of trancoso.
