Find out what Argentinean restaurants to try in Tigre. Day-trip distance from Buenos Aires, the Tigre River Delta offers porteños (Buenos Aires residents) and tourists alike a playground for everything from horseback riding and hiking to fishing and swimming. Comprised of hundreds of tiny islands, the Tigre is about 20 miles northeast of Buenos Aires and is reachable from the city by trains, then by boat from the train station. While the main attraction here is the delta itself (formed where five rivers come together), you’ll also find a Naval Museum, restaurants and playgrounds for kids. Several tour companies offer day-trip excursions to the Tigre River Delta—but visitors also can book stays in area bed & breakfasts and adventure lodges.

Everything is spectacular, even the basket of delicious bread. Fix menu with two or three choices. Deserts are nice but compared to the heavenly mouth melting first and seconds not as bright. You might prefer choosing the wine you'll order instead of having the house wine that comes with the menu. Another thing address on tripadvisor is not the correct one for this splendid place. In stead it is located on Boulevard Saenz Peña 1400. Tigre. Menu by Juliana Lopez May one of the top chefs in Argentina.

We visited the buffet wanting a nice meal but a big feed after a long day and were thoroughly satisfied. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and plenty of seating - it was evidently popular as there was a queue to get in! We paid 95 pessos for all you can eat and thought it was great value considering the quality of the food and the variety. There was a wide selection of cold starters and salads; there were several main dishes and a parrilla where you could choose freshly cooked cuts of meat off the grill; dessert was impressive and you could have crepes cooked to order, as well as ice cream sundaes. Definitely worth a visit if you are hungry and the casino is huge so you can pass a few hours in there too before or after!

During December I hired the boat for a group of my friends as a leaving party who'd all met on exchange in Buenos Aires. We gathered in Palermo and hired a bus to take us to La Marina Neptuno. We enjoyed a great boozy day on the delta, with great weather, music and great company. Our captain Ricardo was very helpful in making sure all of us were looked after, I would definitely book with Ricardo again given the opportunity.

I expected less but my burguer was good. The Caesar salad wasnât bad at all. The provenzal fries were oily but tasty. Could improve but not bad for something quick.

located quayside in a vast harbor/shopping area, having made all the rounds you get hungry, and having heard about this place, read reviews, and well the foodtruck business have just exploded over the last year, so when we saw the truck, and comfy chairs literally next to a very old commercial vessel discharging logs, this was totally authentic, and the burgers were really superb, actually crunchy, which is ofcourse something you will never get in a chain burger store, French fries were very McDonalds like, so that and the fact the buns are cold, did detract 1 start from their rating. But you definitely have to try it !Hi Leslie, thanks for your review. Hope to see you back soon!

We were having empanadas with our guide after the morning cruise from Buenos Aires. The service was way too long and the waiter forgot us. It was a shame for the very well prepared empanadas we finally ate.

on a cold a windy saturday we arrived 1945, they open at 8, but somebody went out and left the door open and we ventured in at 1955 and was told quite explicitly that they were NOT open...so back out in the cold for another 5 minuttes til the opened officially...not a very nice start, anyway, the food was very very mediocre, service went to their friends, it´s an extension of a social club around the corner, so very clearly just for locals, if you are not one of them, find somewhere else,

This was our lunch stop during a day in Tigre. We liked the look of the outdoor seating area and appreciated being able to be seated right next to the river. We had mushroom pasta and chicken salad. Food was okay but not memorable. Service also fine. Boat watching was excellent!!

While visiting the northern suburbs of Buenos Aires, we were brought here by our guide for lunch. Sitting in the verandah under a chestnut tree, with a cool breeze this restaurant is a hidden gem! Had a choice for starters, mains and desserts. Empanadas tasted great, one of the best I have come a crossed, or caprese salad or pork chorizo? Mains was beef chorizo, pork, trout or gnocchi pasta while dessert was between fruit salad and ice cream. The beef chorizo was well prepared and tasted good. Service was good and the price was mid ranged!

I used to love this place when I first got to Argentina in 2012. However, now it's VERY pricey and the lunch options have gone down tremendously! You can get better and more varied food for the same price (or lower) elsewhere. The atmosphere is great, however, and the staff is always very friendly. If you don't mind the price, I definitely recommend it.
