El Mangrullo is probably the best option in Tafi for traditional Northern Food. Yes, dont expect a luxury setting, this place is a no frills tavern/eatery, but the empanadas and the humitas are excellent. Service is normal, friendly... and the prices are very reasonable. For Tafi, its a very good choice.

Tafi del Valle is a great place as to pure and stunning nature. But there is not that much to do and to go in this little village. The choice if restaurants isn't great. Los Morenos has that certain charm, that you expect on the countryside. simply furnished but with lots of local charm, very pleasant local music, even live in the evening, the service is friendly and warmhearted, the local wines are as cheap as great and the food is way better than what you expect on such a place. Coming back, i would always prefer this place.

Un comedor muy sencillo de ambiente familiar. Se puede comer al aire libre bajo sombrillas o adentro del local en mesas con manteles, donde me pareció mucho más prolijo.Ofrece carnes y pollo asado, guarniciones, minutas, pastas y comidas regionales como tamales, locro y humita. En lo personal, me gustan más las empanadas salteñas, pero las tucumanas también se le miden (y me encanta la âempanadillaâ, postre tÃpico con relleno de dulce de cayote).Limpieza adecuada. Tuvimos atención cordial y vimos precios muy convenientes, más bajos que en otros lugares teniendo en cuenta las raciones.Es una opción ideal para quien busca comida casera y económica.

We visited lo de Marcos twice and tried various dishes. The food was very good! The choice of wines is also very good. The atmosphere is great and everybody is super friendly. You should definitely visit this place. Speaking Spanish is an advantage ;-).

Very empty on a Sunday night, don't bother make a reservation! Service was fast, food ok, llama average, tira de asado good, fries industrial and undercooked. Postre standard. Nothing scandalous, nothing to remember. Given the very limited choice in Tafi, it may be an option.

We found the Museo which according to reviews is adjacent to or attached to teams. NO restaurant to be seen nor to/ be found. Only thing adjacent was a Paseo Artesinaeo.

Last here in 2017 so this AM we crossed the street to join the hoard of locals and tourist to partake of a reasonable coffee. They have a selection of some âmorning sweetsâ favoured by locals.. you might find them part of your Am Desayuno but not me. Great view from Glassed in area.
