A unique combination of incredible steaks prepared from top quality Argentine beef from grass-fed cattle reared in the fertile lowlands of Las Pampas, cooked on an authentic parrilla (barbecue grill), paired with superb Argentine wines and served in a vib
Steaks well cooked to our requirements. Good quality and delicious However the wait to be serviced was ridiculous. We were on the ground floor in close proximity to where the staff were hanging around, yet we were invisible. Just left waiting and waiting. Drinks never arrived. Asked and asked but nothing happened. All very friendly. Lots of laughter from the staff but still no drinks or food. All blaming each other which didnât help.Still canât believe it. Very frustrating Not overly busy. Didnât appear to be under staffed. Just absolutely no attention to any details when it came to serving customers.

My partner turned down going for a tapas preferring a good steak. Read some great reviews for this restaurant and they were right. Alex and the staff were very friendly and the steaks were to die for! The wine and beer were excellent too. Highly recommended, will definitely be going back.

Carmona have taken over the Cau site, lock, stock and barrel. Offering Spanish tapas and Argentinian steaks it is similar in menu and has taken over furnishings too, so again very little change. The 7 tapas dishes and bottle of wine we had were all good. Everything felt chaotic, staff seemed to need to be everywhere at once, with no-one dedicated to any section, but they worked incredibly hard and as such we will give it another go.
