I was actually there in January 2015, I just found the photo! It wasn't my firsts time there, my good friends from Derqui always take me there every year I visited. What to say! It is a must go place when in Pilar. The atmosphere is eclectic and vibrant, loud music or live music and the most authentic Argentinian food with a glass of house wine. Don't expect much more, it is crowded and rustic, and the food is excellent. I cannot visit Buenos Aires without stoping at La Tucumanita!

Restaurant/Parrilla en Manzanares frente a la estacion de tren Manzanares
We went to 1888 for lunch and were pleasantly surprised to find out they have very good food 60 kms away from the city in the tint town of Manzanares. Nice place and tasty seafood.

Especialidad en pastas caseras y pescados como asà también algunos platos de parrilla , minutas y ensaladas especiales
When we found ourselves with friends in Pilar, we saw this restaurant and thought it looked clean, bright and well appointed, We were pleased with the selection of Pastas, Fish, Parilla and sides. Not a huge menu, but with plenty of options and a decent wine list - we chose Trumpeter Malbec. We were 4 and we got very delicious Proveleta, a variety of mains: Bife de Chorizo, Cerdo, Pasta and Matambrito. All were prepared as we had requested and were nicely seasoned - quite tasty ! For desert, we shared a Pancake de Dulce de Leche....Yummy Plus ! So, I can recommend Los Belatti (the family were there to guide and serve us) and definitely plan to return when next in Pilar.Thank you very much for coming to our place and for your comment as well.We are glad you enjoyed your dinner. Hope to see you soon. Cheers!!!!!!

I´ve been eating at La Porteña for several years and the quality of the food, particularly meat, was always excellent. I used to say that you could never go wrong choosing this place. But seems that things are changing, the quality has been on the decline, the dishes are not served with the care they used to (cold, not cooked as requested). My recent experience, visited the place three times in the last 15 days, confirmed that this is not the place it used to be.

I've been in this restaurant for business reasons several times. This time it was a group lunch, on working day. Service was good, above average. Being a Monday, attendance to restaurant to restaurant was low, which it may be the reason why the buffet offer was pretty limited; basic apetizers, and four options for main course. Desert offer, though, was broad. Facilities are nice, lots of light; however, I do not clearly understand whiy in many years an option to find a table outdoors has not been added; actually, the restaurant dos not have even access to the nice garden area that can be seen form inside.

Although there are other Parolaccias in BA, this one is my favorite. A great ambience, comfortable, cozy, ample, and a great Italian cuisine. From the typical antipasti to the tasty mascarpone tiramisu, going through s typical pasta main course, the food is absolutely outstanding. Been there dozens of times and it's always above standard. And then, the very professional and charming staff, who will make your visit a one to remember. Not that all the staff is not great, but I wanna say that Roque is one of the best waiters I've ever seen, he is very professional and very nice with his guests, always having the exact word, and suggesting good dishes, Bravo Roque! And Bravo Parolaccia of course!

It is indeed a very nice place if you're (like myself) a pasta fan... Unfortunately, the place is hidden from the tourism circuit, something like 10 blocks away from the Panamericana Motorway... A very nice place, relaxing and cool atmosphere, ideal to go with your mate or couple, specially during the night!

I made the reservation while still in the states via email...very easy! The restaurant is in an old house, turned into a restaurant...Antiques abound....lovely ambience....food was spectalular! Service was very good except we did have to wait quite a long time for the check and asked 3 times..I thought maybe they wanted to give us a free dinner....! All in all if I lived nearby I'd be a regular! If you are going on the weekend make a reservation or be prepared to wait as many were doing.... Very Happy!
