Best American food near Alhaurin el Grande, Province of Malaga, Spain
I first visited this restaurant to grab a burger takeaway by myself; it was really full, but the waitress spoke a bit of English and was able to give me an English menu. I noticed that, somewhat weirdly, the English menu had fewer options than the Spanish one, but given that it was busy and I also needed to get a takeaway elsewhere for my girlfriend, I didn't have time to work out the translation of everything on the Spanish menu. I ordered the grun burger, without the grilled egg, and sat down to wait. It took about fifteen minutes to come - which was understandable given that they were busy. I ate it whilst walking, and got only a block before I finished it. It was tasty, really tasty in fact, but a lot smaller than I expected for a burger that cost almost â¬6 with no sides or anything. Still, it was good enough to warrant going back a few weeks later with my girlfriend when she wanted a snack. She took a baguette whilst this time I took a look at the Spanish menu and decided to order the blue cheese burger which is not on the English version. It was the same size as my previous burger, but tasty still and with a good amount of blue cheese. We ordered some fries to go with it this time, which made the portion seem more like enough, but at â¬5 as well for these they were not cheap. It's good, and popular with young Spanish locals - despite it being completely dead on our second visit. However, the portions are small for the price - despite them being pretty good. Not the best burgers I have ever eaten, but still good.
