Just to say - we went there twice in 3 days - it was that good. Each meal was perfectly prepared, very delicious, nicely arranged. Staff was very polite, at your service at all time. The lamb tajine, with honey, caramelized pear and almonds was perfect. Tajine chicken soo tender. Had a wine recommended by the waiter - it was perfect. Next time we had something different - prawns in srirach mayo (starter), home made pasta wiht octopus, and lamb cooked 6 hours. Delicious.

So much deliciousness in the calm evening breeze. Didn't Expect such a flavourful dish and a brilliant switch from tagine and couscous. Rfissa chicken. And the calm views in the evening are a perfect respite from the heat of the day. Very friendly and welcoming staff. So glad we ate here!! You won't be disappointed.

Service was very attentive. It was a quiet evening for the restaurant and they were about to close when the 2 of us arrived. We were the only guests but treated very friendly, as if it was completely normal to cook for someone who arrives at half past nine in the evening. We were served by the co-owner who gave us detailed and passionate description of the preparation of their food, the different possiblities and advice for proudly cherished specalties (be sure to try the beetroot juice if you care for healthy refreshing stuff). Our special wishes and animosities have completely been respected and the food was, by the way, delicous. We had vegetable soup and Harita which both have been prepared from fresh vegetable. Though I was fed up with 'Tajine I ordered a fish Tajine prepared in a custom-made way, with prunes and almonds, not from the regular menue, but as a result of the seducing consultation. The building had bit by bit been abandoned by the previous owners so the idea is to save it and maintain it by the income of the restaurant as a peaceful meeting place for both cultivated local and international guests. For us it was a pleasure to have conversation with such a well-educated person, romantically sitting under orange and mandarine trees, away from the noisy bustling Medina pathes. The courtyard is now covered, but as we are in November, you will enjoy it only if your clothing is warm enough! Considering the quality of food and in comparision to other fine dining restaurants the prices were at a fair level. This is neither a cheap-to--eat-place nor a spectacular wow-show-folkloristic-riad. Rather a little gem still to be discovered and respectfully appreciated. It might look closed, but ring the little white electric bell on the upper left side of the door frame and they will answer the door.I did not expect so much praise, thank you in any case, as we explained to you at home we receive customers as guests .... thank you again and welcome back to Munich.
