Most Popular Middle Eastern food in Mardin, Mardin Province, Turkey
All our food was delicious and reasonably priced. The Mercimek (lentil) soup was great and the Suriyani Kebab might have been a bit spicy for me, but my husband loved it. The bulgur, not usually a favorite of ours, was good. I had the chicken wings-very tasty and came with fries and rice. The manager could not have been more friendly and helpful. They have a nice array of old âstuffâ on display and he told us all about the history. As with many Old Town Mardin restaurants it is up a steep staircase so not good if you have mobility issues. Otherwise, nice views once you get there. Too chilly for us to sit outside but would be nice in warmer weather.
