Any restaurant with Hot Dog written on the window catches my attention. While driving downtown WF I spotted this restaurant and decided to check it out. Glad I did. The Carolina style hot dog was great. You may have to stand in line during the noon rush but when you get to the front of the line you place your order at the counter and by the time the cashier makes your change they are handing you your food. Very casual, but a great place for casual food. Oh yes, there are pool tables and additional seating in the back room.

A restaurant that stays true to the seasonal promise & thrives on the support of local farmers & partners when possible, Farm Table offers menus that let the ingredients speak for themselves. We focus on sourcing responsibly, minimizing waste, and maximiz
We had our first experience at this restaurant tonight and were so impressed. The cocktails were amazing and food was stunning. We had the crab coated portobello to start then the duck risotto and rabbit shepherds pie. Finally shared the carrot cake. Probably the best restaurant we have been to this year. Our server Donny was amazing and we were so impressed we asked to speak to the manager. Again a great experience and so appreciative of the great feedback we gave. We will be back very soon.Wow, way to make our Monday special stinkyandthebrain! We love getting all guest feedback, but it is truly appreciated when a guest goes out of their way to let us know that our efforts at Farm Table don't go unappreciated. We will be sure to pass along your compliments to Chef and Donny and we look forward to hosting you again soon!Warm Regards,The Farm Table Team
My wife and I remember the days of hitting the "Awful Waffle" 20 years ago after being out too late with friends. Its always open and you can count on greasy cheap American diner food. Who doesn't want some hashbrowns scattered, covered, smothered and chunked with a cheeseburger or chicken sandwich at 2AM? What we dont miss from those days is the loud mouthed jerks and occasional fights. We have found its a great place for breakfast of lunch on the weekends. Just be ready for long lines here for breakfast but you can always order breakfast anytime. The service here is quick, food is good (yes its greasy so dont go if counting calories) and hits the spot. They have a new $5 menu so you can always find something. My wifes complaint and I agree...was that the bacon is not crispy is soggy like country ham. Because of that and the lady bleaching the floors/mopping by us on our last visit I give it a average.
Packhouse Coffee Company is a Drive-thru coffee stand featuring gourmet, locally roasted coffee.
Cute little (read: tiny) stop for coffee. There are two picnic tables outside as well as a gravel drive-through lane, so you can just pick up a coffee at the window. Expect a full menu that would be found at any larger cafe, including coffee and espresso-based drinks, as well as tea. About a 40 minute drive north out of Raleigh.

I love Backfins Crab House the food is great, sometimes there is a waiting time to be seated but well worth the wait. There are lots of good choices on the menu but my favorite is the crab cake. Service is always good and the owners are helpful and friendly. Enjoy!

We went on a Saturday before 9:00. Waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Good, friendly, efficient service. The Elvis avocado toast had a little bit too much going on, but it was very good. We eat here fairly often, our favorite breakfast spot.

My boyfriend and I tried this for breakfast one morning and we're not impressed at all. The food was not fresh and the potatoes were disgusting. Service was very slow too even though they were not so busy at the time we were there. I would not go back. We both felt we should have stayed at home and made our own breakfast.
Lovely new addition to Youngsville Main Street! Lovely heritage building reclaimed as an ice cream "parlor" offering many delicious flavors of Hershey Ice Cream, and ices. My current favorite is salty caramel toffee. The shop is spotless, and run by Mary and Eugene with assist from staff including Shelby. Owners support their missionary work through shop profits. There's plenty of space for everyone and they are open until 9 o'clock most nights!
