This restaurant was recommended to us by a local. I'd highly recommend it if you want a great steak or the option of a variety of seafood. Yes, hard to believe that there is a variety of seafood in Woodward, OK.We ate here several times during our week in Woodward and never had a bad meal. Occasionally a side dish wasn't quite what we expected but that's all. We just kept coming back because we couldn't think of a better place to go for dinner. The food was very tasty and the value was exceptional. I plan on returning here next time I'm in town. Highly recommended!!!

We went here for lunch having never eaten here the many times we have visited Woodward. The food was really good. We ordered the fillet medium rare, and many many cooks donât get this correct but Alâs did it wonderfully!!! Also one of our party ordered salmon and it was perfect, not overcooked as most in other places. The flavor was so very good we will definitely return.
We moved here not too long ago from Europe and I was really missing Indian food, then I found this restaurant. I couldnât wait to try it and I was not disappointed. The menu selection is very small but they are slowly introducing Woodward to Indian food so starting off with mostly curry dishes. You get a good amount for the price. We leave full. They serve Boba tea which is yummy but a bit pricey in my opinion. The staff is very nice and explains all the dishes etc. The only down side is they are not easily seen and it can be hard to find as itâs inside of a motel.
I went in @ 9:00. The restaurant was clean, well lit and maintained. The employee Taylor was very nice. She was also very proficient at making sandwiches. I watched her multi-task and take care of several customers at once. The restrooms were dated and small. Parking was easy and the restaurant was easy to find.A++
Sometime between the review in January and now the name seems to have changed...it is the Downtown Diner. The food is great...many options on the menu. I got the sausage and eggs with a side of toast. All plentiful and delicious! Everything I saw looked delicious

Ordered beef nachos. Looked burned, and were not what I was anticipating as an order of beef nachos. Huge plate, but that was the only redeeming point. Flavor was not there. Waiter at lunch did not even check to see if we were happy before bringing the bill.

It is a bar with food. The dining room was very loud. The service wasnât very good and neither was the food. The waitress forgot one personâs order completely. She did without asking comp that order. The jalapeño grilled cheese sandwich was processed cheese with sliced fresh jalapeños. The salad had wilted lettuce leaves on top and shredded iceberg underneath. The pan fries were the best dish. The two orders of okra were like any other place except one order was hot and the other was cold and had no dressing. The unsweetened ice tea was excellent.

Thanks to the reviews on Trip Advisor we rode here to have lunch. The three of us each had a different sandwich and they were all excellent. Great service to go along with the great food. It was worth the 1 1/2 hour ride to eat here, we're going back.

I had a brisket sandwich with fried okra and my husband had a brisket and sausage plate. Decent BBQ, sauce was a little too sweet for our taste though. The menus are the weird newspapers on the table in case your going for the first time and are looking around like we were! No one told us.

We read the reviews and decided to give it a shot. You feel like you walked back into the 50s with the decor. Lots of memorabilia and antiques to peruse. We had chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken with salad, mashed potatoes and gravy. Small dinner salad was fresh and tasty. Main course cooked just right and we ate every bite. Service was quick and friendly...no complaints
