What else can I say except, exceptional! From the warm greeting at the front desk and then at the Bistro while being brought to our incredible porch table. Incredible views of West Woodstock coupled with incredible food and gracious service really made our special occasion that much better. We were told to relax, take it all in and were given other recommendations of things in the area. We hope to return soon and hopefully for a stay overnight next time. I give 506 and their staff my highest recommendation.

One of my favorite grab and go locations. You can order sandwiches made to order or you can grab something from the ready made counter. I love the deviled eggs. Whether you want a sandwich, a frozen dinner option, a bottle of wine, or some syrup for breakfast; don't overlook the village butcher. It is unassuming and small, but packed full of good options.

The essence of Vermont and flavor-driven small plates are paired with a bar featuring local craft brews and spirits at Richardson's Tavern. A relaxed atmosphere invites warm conversation and friendly company among friends and family. Dine al fresco on the
This is a perfect spot for a casual meal. The tavern is a comfortable spot, with a bar near the entrance and a large dining area, including outdoor space. Keep it simple (burgers are great) and you will be very happy with the food and the space.Thank you for joining us in Richardson's Tavern for a few dinners during your recent ten-day stay at our resort, and for the kind words about the food and service.Burgers at The tavern are always terrific and thereâs nothing like a great burger and a delicious craft beer on a hot summer night⦠or a col autumn evening! Weâre over the moon that you and your family trusted us enough to reserve a ten-day stay sight-unseen, and that everything worked out so wonderfully for you. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you âhomeâ to Woodstock, to The Woodstock Inn & Resort, and to Richardson's Tavern many, many more times in the near future!Warm regards,Rick Reno, Resort Training Manager

Our AAA Four Diamond Award winning restaurant, The Red Rooster, captures the essence of Vermont in its delightful satisfying dishes and relaxed setting. The restaurant showcases menus that draw from the best purveyors in New England, emphasizing fresh, lo
Our family of five had breakfast here for 10 days. Both the buffet and a la carte entries are wonderful. Our dinner was solid, but it was definitely "hotel" food and feel. Nothing at all to complain about, but far from "exciting". I do compliment the chef, the quality ingredients utilized and a staff which is always cheerful and full of good will. Thank you for having the confidence in our resort to reserve three rooms for ten nights on your first-ever visit, and for sharing your very kind words about breakfast in The Red Rooster. The fact that you chose to join us for breakfast every day for ten straight days speaks volumes about the overall experience- not just the food but also the genuine, warm welcome from our team- and we are all grateful!I am sorry to hear you found dinners less âexciting,â and want you to know we really do appreciate the input and take it to heart. We look forward to another visit, and to making your dinner experiences, whether in The Red Rooster, Richardson's Tavern, or at Kelly Way Gardens, a highlight!Respectfully,Rick Reno, Resort Training Manager Best wishes,Rick Reno, Resort Training Manager

Very hipsterâyoung children who were well behaved were given the evil eye by most customers. Food selection is limited, but the best thing on the menu was the Vegan bowl. Mac-n-cheese was bland as was the buttermilk ranch dressing, which soaked the salad but added zero flavor. It was like eating wet leaves. Even in a no -peak time it took 45 minutes for mac n cheese, salad, a vegan bowl and a burger. Also I hate the system where we have to stand in line to order (drinks as well as food) from the bartenders and then get a table. They will seat you, but then you have to go get the food when your buzzer goes off. Tight space with patrons traversing with trays full of food, dodging each other and the food ordering line is a recipe for an uncomfortable dining experience.

My wife and I had dinner there recently and everything, from the service to the food to the atmosphere was top notch. You can choose from their price fixe menu or order ala carte. My wife ordered the boneless rack of lamb in a puff pastry and I had the seared salmon. Both were excellent, as were the profiteroles for dessert, served with ice cream instead of cream. Great choice if you're looking for a special night out.

My husband and I chose Melazo Bistro for dinner while we were visiting in Woodstock. Our meal was excellent! Our server, John, was very attentive and pleasant to interact with. The menu theme is Caribbean. My meal was a pork shank which literally fell off the bone accompanied by plaintains and a yummy guava rum glaze. My husband enjoyed his Jerk Chicken accompanied by plaintains and rice. Both were beautifully presented and full of wonderful Caribbean seasonings.Due to the warm fall temperatures, we were able to enjoy our meal on their outdoor patio while listening to music from the islands. I can wholeheartedly recommend Melaza for your dinner experience.

Cloudland Farm offers farm-to-table dining right on the farm where many of the ingredients were grown. Everything is made from scratch and all ingredients are locally sourced. The menu changes daily. Dine by the fireplace during the winter, or come early
I just made my third trip to Cloudland Farm, and I must say that each time I go, I love it even more than the last! This is a true farm to table restaurant. They raise the vast majority of what is served on the menu (livestock and produce) and they contract with local purveyors to procure the remaining ingredients. Everything is so fresh and delicious. The chef is amazingly creative. I've posted the menu with my review. Just a note: the menu is set each day, so there are no substitutions available. I believe that they can accommodate vegetarians, but I would be sure to give them advance notice first. It is a wonderful experience. Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review for us on TripAdvisor! We are so glad that you have enjoyed your meals here over the years. Just for future reference, I want to be sure you know that our Chef is happy to accommodate any food allergies or dietary restrictions as long as you let us know about them in advance. Have a wonderful holiday season!
