My husband ordered the French toast with bacon. He enjoyed his breakfast and shared his bacon with me. The bacon was thick and meaty and fried crisp. Very good. I ordered the egg Benedict. It was a poor choice that day. The egg whites were not set and the Canadian bacon was 1 very thin piece. The abundance of hollandaise sauce just drowned the muffin and egg. However I had a pleasant cup of coffee. The place was very busy, but several other places were closed Sunday and perhaps that explained the packed house. I canât comment on atmosphere or decor. The photos of other reviews explain it all

Staff was friendly as we ordered at the counter. Then we sat and waited, and waited for our order. Only one other table of four a head of us. They looked like they had been waiting for awhile before we arrived. It was awkward to then receive our shrimp salad and fried fish before they received theirs. The shrimp salad was okay, nothing special. When I picked up a piece of fish the oil oozed from the batter and dripped down my hand, not a good sign. We've eaten a lot of fish n' chips on our trips along the coast, this was not good.Thank-you for your review. Glad to hear the counter staff was friendly- that's always our goal! Obviously cook error on this fish- we do sell a lot of it and I will share your review with staff as a training tool. We were out of town during this period of time and we always hope things run consistent when we are gone. My apologies and I do hope if you are ever in our area, please stop in and try the fish again. And as far as the wait- hmmm...Not sure why there was a wait, especially that time of year. Sounds like a training/staffing issue as well. Thanks for sharing and I am on it!

This place is tucked away, but easy to find. The view of the river and old train bridge is beautiful. The food is representative of the Oregon Coast and is very good. The setting and atmosphere is "old school", with light easy-listening music playing in the background. The staff are very nice. Save room for dessert!

We offer delicious food along the Southern Oregon Coast in Reedsport, OR. Offering Breakfast All Day, Lunch and Dinner. Daily Specials as well as our Old Fashioned Umpqua Ice Cream Parlor.
We ate here after a 47 mile bicycle ride, so you can imagine how hungry we were. I had the salmon sandwich in ciabatta. There was a lot of ciabatta and a fairly small piece of salmon. There was also tartar sauce, lettuce and a slice of tomato. I found that salting the salmon made the whole sandwich pretty tasty. I chose a cup of clam chowder as accompaniment, and it was very tasty. My husband had a very standard hamburger (like Sonic) with good French fries. We shared a slice of the worst chocolate cream pie we ever had with no perceptible chocolate flavor and a weird topping that was not only not cream; it had never been near a cow.
Wow! Wow! Wow!!!!!!!!Stopped in to this unexpected gem......omg. Please do not pass this place up! Mostly handmade food. Big, bold flavors. Super service! Prices are perfect. Not going to blab on and on.....other than to say: COME HERE! COME HERE! COME HERE!!!!!!!!!!!! You will not be sorry!

It's a cute place on the north end of town and smaller than what it looks like from the outside. Emily was our waitress and since it was our first time here, we asked what suggestions she had for lunch. My husband got one of the daily specials â Ling Cod Ratatouille â Cod with sautéed mixed summer veggies like zucchini and tomatoes - $17. She recommended the Smoked Stack sandwich â smoked Tri Tip, Pulled Pork and Bacon topped with onion straws, Cheddar cheese and Chipotle mayo on a Pub bun for $14. I got a side of delicious onion rings instead of fries at no extra charge. She didn't steer me wrong! My sandwich was excellent and i could only eat half of it and took the rest home for another meal. My hubby was very pleased with his meal too. I think they make your order fresh cuz we had to wait awhile to get our food and it was worth the wait. Our server stopped by frequently to check on us. They have a variety of sandwiches, burgers, pot pies, chowders and salads. A lady next to us ordered a bowl of Chowder and said it was one of the best Chowders she ever tasted. They also serve breakfast and dinner. I would definitely come back here.

When driving up the coast of Oregon, right past the Umpqua lighthouse, you come to Winchester Bay that is famous for crabbing. This is a little seafood restaurant owned by a family and it was SO fresh and tasty. It was well known by the locals and packed
The building ain't much. A little funky inside, kind of old. Nothing special, but clean. Great view of part of the bay and some busted down old docks and boats. The food was excellent and the service was great. Calimari was perfect - not too salty, no rubber bands, great fresh flavor. Kids menu fish and chips was a steal for the portion size and the same excellent quality as the adult version - perfectly breaded and very fresh and tasty. Grilled halibut burger is fresh and delicious. These people know seafood!

This place has been a favorite of mine because it is so quiet and layback even in peak tourist times. I am also a seafood lover and I have found that many seafood restaurants botch seafood and usually use foreign sourced fish. Here you get locally sourced fish done right. The place itself has a lot of ambience with it's extensive wood interior and location in a fishing wharf. This place is great for both locals who want great seafood and visitors looking for an out of the way find.

Oysters Rockefeller wasn't serviced on the half shell [maybe because it was take-out] and had perhaps too much garlic but were yummy none the less. Shrimp & Chips were plentiful and tasty.Nice tarter and cocktail sauces but they could have been from a bottle.
