Restaurant Oak + Almond-our philosophy is simple, prepare fresh food with an emphasis on organic and local. We serve lunch, dinner, and brunch in our casual, modern dining room and on our lush patio in-season.
We didnât make reservation and arrived on Fatherâs Day after spending the morning at the Maritime Aquarium (10 min. drive) in Norwalk. We were seated at a communal table which was just fine. What a fun dining room! Great ambience! The bottomless Prosecco mimosas were good. The grilled shishido peppers and fried calamari were underwhelming as they lacked flavor. My daughter refused to even sit near the plate of wings we ordered because she said, âit smells weird!â We quickly ate what we could and hiked it out of there. Itâs not a place we would return.

The restaurant is really busy Friday evenings but the wait is worth it. It is a chain but the food is good and the service is friendly. It is packed so you need to call ahead to get a jump on waiting (you cannot reserve a time, however).

Transport yourself to the South of France where the sights and sounds are transposed within Mediterraneo. Located within the ultra-chic Hotel Zero Degrees, views of the Norwalk River impose soothing sensations of surf and sun. You will feel as though you
My husband & I went to dinner for our anniversary and sat by the window next to the beautiful waterfall. Everything we ate was delicious, especially the Parmesan crusted halibut. Itâs crave-able! There is a train line that runs back there too, but it only passed by once in the 90 minutes we were there. Service was fabulous too!

Meeting adult family members at this new attracted but dark establishment, I was disappointed upon entering to learn that our table for 7 was not ready despite having made a reservation. They quickly put together some tables to accommodate us.Music was blaring so it was difficult for conversation. The restaurant was half empty. It was our waiterâs first brunch serving there. He was most accommodating although he had to keep running to the kitchen to get answers to our questions. There was a regular menu, as well as one for brunch which also included special prices for 2 hours worth of drinks. The food unfortunately was just fair. The lobster salad was lacking in taste. The fried chicken sandwich was greasy, and the crab meat sandwich with bacon was fine. Others didnât comment on their choices.Missing the mark, we will meet the next time at Oremâs where the atmosphere is nil but the food yet plain is good for half the price.

High end casual fare at great prices. Comfortable family friendly setting with full bar, happy hour daily and private banquet rooms available.
This is a nice local place with a lively bar and an energetic atmosphere. Service was excellent. The menu was fairly standard pub fare with some interesting twists. Get the burger with fried cheese curds and onion rings. It's a lot of meal, and even comes with a side of fries. Salads and main courses were good too. And they pour a really nice glass of wine. Check it out.Thank you for the kind words Parker. We hope to see you soon!

Great food, generous drinks, and a lively pub atmosphere you'll feel right at home in.
I am trying so hard to like these places but I'm just not feeling the love. Like its sister restaurants, this place has a varied, faux-pub menu with a little something for everyone. My burger was made of good quality meat but undercooked. Cheese steak was plentiful as were the wraps. Side salad was boring. Nothing seems to stand out at this place except the oppressively loud atmosphere. We could barely speak to each other. And valet parking at a pub....really? Service was super friendly though.

Been serving classic diner food for generations. Always good. Quick breakfast of all the traditional egg , pancake, waffle etc. type food Pretty much anything else you can think of . All prepared and served well. Don't be afraid of the lines, they get people fed and moving on in a timely manner.Thank you very much! We have truly appreciated your continued patronage, and love to hear that you have enjoyed your experience dining with us through the years. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

The people are extremely nice and the service was impeccable. The room is small and cozy and can get loud on a Saturday night but conversation is not impaired. The food however, was just average. Menu is limited but they are very willing to adhere to food allergies etc. The salad we had was weak. It seemed over dressed and wilted and without an attempt to bring out the different flavors. The mains were very average. The soufflé was the best part of the meal however. It was outstanding; rich, creamy, hot, delicious.
