DiPrato's Delicatessen opened May 2004, and, today, the DiPrato's Experience affords patrons a rewarding escape from ordinary fare. The reward? Delectable food, beautiful décor, and a beguiling balance: friendly service and a pleasant, neighborly feeling.
I like this place...a friend calls it snooty...I'd call it upscale. If you want a sandwich go to McDonald's...if you want something that's better than just filling your stomach, then go eat here. Take family and friends here when they are visiting. Keep this one in your back pocket. Every sandwich is good but I recall a burger special that was amazing...eat everything on the menu.

Pleasant atmosphere, good service and good food. I met a friend for lunch. I wasnât too hungry so just had the soup. It was excellent. Parking was not a problem but could be. There is a public garage within walking distance if the weather is O.K.

We were late getting here for dinner and decided to go a little lighter. My husband frequents here due to travels with his job. This was my first visit. The burger was good and the onion rings were great. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were excellent. Nice atmosphere, great service, and really good food. Glad I can add this to the list of great restaurants in Columbia!! Try it!

Chef-Driven Restaurant in Columbia, SC featuring dishes prepared with fresh locally sourced ingredients paired with quality cocktails and exciting wine list.
Last time 2 years ago it was undercooked quail--don't eat RAW bird. This time slightly pretentious-- wife had greasy fried pork. I had pretty good Mahi-Mahi. Hericot verts--green beans--- Really ?? . Not a great selection for appetizers or desserts . The main entrees are however a slam dunk better than Black rooster down the street ! Black Rooster's entrees are terrible-- including duck and dry tasteless burger . And the Rooster refuses to put cheese on their salad even if you try to pay extra ! so go figure ? Restaurants today don't appreciate the people walking on the front door with cash to spend.

Had a wonderful dinner at Cola's. Must book reservations if Carolina is in session. Had some Scallops and the Trout. Really nice tasting dishes. Harry, the waiter was very imformative and friendly. Would go again. A+ quality in my book.

Restored 1920's era building. Eclectic decor that supports the local art community. 1
This was my first visit to Cafe Strudel, but it won't be my last. This place is loaded with personality and has a very friendly vibe. We got very good food and service and had lots of fun. It was trivia night (Thursday), so the place was packed and the noise level was very high. The beer list is quite diversified here and the drafts are inexpensive; my pint of Palmetto Idle Speed cost just three bucks. The food is similarly affordable. I ordered a Cuban ($9.95) and my wife had a Congaree Salad plate ($9.75). Both were delicious.
