Had to go and see what all the raving was about. Small but friendly. Got the black bean burger. It was nice. Fries OK. Good selection of beer. Handy location for people that live on that side.

I went to Iowa for the first time and breakfast here was wonderful. I had a veggie omelet with potatoes and a biscuit. It was tasted great and the waitress was quick and very nice. Definitely suggest it for a good breakfast---lots of Hawkeye fans there!

Had a Bloody Mary & the steak and eggs. Balltip, tender cut cooked medium-rare perfectly. Cozy atmosphere for a rainy morning. The staff is fun and welcoming. Our waitress, Quenisha, was great. Bubbly & friendly, prompt and professional. Definitely a gem of a restaurant!

Unique and tasty sandwiches with great soup. Hard to beat! The place is usually quite busy at lunch, but I always seem to get a table right away. Might be difficult to seat more than four together.

Award winning barbeque - especially brisket and ribs + great live music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Driving back to the QCA from Cedar Falls we tired the Wildwood for lunch due to its proximity to I80. The brisket was fantastic as was the pulled pork and the tenderloin. Everyone went away very satisfied with our meals. The site is a country & western dance hall. Plenty of tvâs on the walls for entertainment as well. Service was fast and friendly. Worth repeating.

The atmosphere is nice--comfortable booths, and there is a fireplace, which in my opinion is always a plus. I have no complaints about the service. The food was fine. Perfectly edible, but not very exciting. Not very different from your typical American chain (Applebee's, TGI Fridays), except the quality was probably a little better. I got a Thai cobb salad, and my boyfriend got the mushroom melt. We got the alehouse onion strings to share as an appetizer. We got there during happy hour, which means half-priced martinis--that was probably the best part of the meal.

Limited service ice cream and sandwich shop. Menu features burgers, tenderloins, chicken sandwiches, fries, cheese balls, onion rings and more. Ice cream includes Vanilla, Chocolate, Twist and FlavorBurst; sundaes, shakes/malts, Polar Bears & more.
An easy good lunch. (The restroom needs cleaning, had an odor because the dirty mop water and floor dump sink was there.) Outside sign needs to be raised a little, as it was a bit difficult to spot. Service was good.

We ate breakfast here before heading to the nearby Hoover Presidential Museum, and enjoyed chatting with the friendly locals. The coffee was hot, delicious, and wonderful. I had the (superbly seasoned) veggie quiche, one of the best I've ever eaten, together with fresh fruit that was truly fresh and perfectly ripe. Of all the meals we ate on our two week road trip, this breakfast was a standout. Reid's Beans is a real treasure and not to be missed!
