Mad Boar Restaurant raises the bar of classy elegance with this restaurant. The beautiful building is conveniently located to major routes and is so easy to find. The attention to detail is displayed by the beautiful building and décor. Attention to detail is also present in the service and food. The food was very good, and the menu has something for everyone. The flavors of dishes are highly complementary. The bar area is adorned with stain glass windows and gives the feel of a sophisticated Irish pub. The fine dining area is elegant and intimate. There are also banquet rooms to rent for parties, meetings, and other events. Service is wonderful. Food is good. The restaurant is very clean and presentable. Restrooms are large and private.

Recently taken over by the Hwy 55 chain, the menu remains pretty much the same as when it was Andy's including Andy's Burgers, Andy's Shakes and so forth on the menu. The restaurant has a 50's look and strives for a "diner feel" from that era. Service is always fast. The waitstaff know most everyone that comes in (local high school kids I think). Burgers and fries are much better than fast food, the shakes are real shakes (you can get malt if you want) and the cheesesteaks are great (and I grew up in Philly!). If you're up for a sandwich in Wallace, North Carolina, this is the place.

I went with my daughter and 14 month old granddaughter. Our first order of business was a diaper change. Went into the ladies restroom and NO changing table! That was a shock. For a restaurant that claims to be family oriented, why would they not provide a changing table? We are not the kind of folks that will change a diaper on the table, so we had to return to the car. The food we ordered was delicious and served in a timely manner.

Subway is great because you can choose your bread and whatever you want to go inside. This location is convenient because it is inside Walmart. So grabbing a quick lunch is easy.

We stopped in for a quick burger on our way through Wallace. There is lots of parking. The employees waited on his as soon as we approached. The quality was what we expect from Hardeeâs. Tables were clean.
